Chance Kornuth opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Luke Chung three-bet to 30,000 from the button. Kornuth called.

Chung fired a second barrel for 60,000 when checked to on the 6 turn and Kornuth called again.

On the 10 river Kornuth checked and Chung shoved, covering Kornuth who had 116,000 behind. Kornuth called after about a minute of contemplation, showing two pair with 88. Chung had him beat with KK for two pair, kings and nines to end Kornuth's Main Event run.

Neugebauer Applies Pressure, Pardy Bows Out

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With the board showing 4Q3KQ and around 280,000 in the pot, Max Neugebauer and Ivan Poroliev were locked in a heads-up battle. Neugebauer led out for 75,000 as the first to act, putting the pressure on Poroliev, who took his time to consider the spot.

After a long tank, Poroliev eventually released his hand, conceding the pot to Neugebauer, who quietly added a healthy boost to his stack.

Just a few hands later, Jonathan Pardy hit the rail from the same table.

Muratovic Takes from Saechao

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

When the action folded to Asko Muratovic in the cutoff, he put in a raise to 14,000. One seat to his left, Stephen Chidwick made the call, before Kao Saechao put in a three-bet from the small blind to 39,000. The big blind got out of the way, but both Muratovic and Chidwick called.

Saechao continued for 24,000 on the K74 flop. Muratovic made the call, and Chidwick folded.

The K joined the board as the turn card, and Saechao decided a check was in order. This gave Muratovic the green light to take over the betting lead, doing so with a wager of 25,000.

Muratovic put some brief thought into his response, but ultimately decided just to fold.

Taylor's Ace-King is Good

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop in a three-way pot between Michael Miravi in the big blind, Antoine Berruel in first position, and Esther Taylor in early position.

The flop rolled out 6JK and Miravi checked over to Berruel who bet 16,000 and both Miravi and Taylor called.

On the turn A, everyone checked over to Taylor who bet 40,000 and only Berruel called.

Both players checked the J river and Berruel turned over AQ for aces and jacks. That was no good against Taylor's AK for aces and kings and she added a significant sum to her stack.

Umerova Sniffs Out the Bluff

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Safiya Umerova

Jeremiah Wheeler opened the action from the hijack with a raise to 18,000, and Safiya Umerova defended her big blind.

The flop came 10Q9, and Umerova checked. Wheeler continued for 32,000, and Umerova stuck around with a call.

Both players checked the 3 turn.

On the K river, Umerova checked once more, and Wheeler launched a sizable bet of 80,000 into the middle. Umerova didn’t hesitate, she called.

With the dealer announcing showdown, Umerova waited patiently, as Wheeler had made the last aggressive move. After a pause, Wheeler finally tabled 65 for a stone-cold bluff. Umerova revealed Q8 for a pair of queens, enough to win the pot.
