Josselin Gardes raised in early position, Dmitrii Perfilev three-bet to 27,000, Zilong Zhang four-bet from the small blind to 93,000, Gardes folded and Perfilev five-bet jammed for 550,000. Zhang went deep into the tank, facing a decision for his tournament life as he was covered by Perfilev, who even pulled out his phone to record. After a long pause, Zhang made the call.

Jean Lhuillier opened to 10,000 from early position and Michael Mizrachi called from the button.
The flop came 4♠2♣8♣. Lhuillier checked and Mizrachi bet 12,000. Lhuillier check-raised to 37,000 and Mizrachi called.
Lhuillier continued for 55,000 on the Q♥ turn and Mizrachi called again. Both players then checked the J♦ river.
Mirachi had third pair with 8♥6♥ but Lhuillier had him beat with 9♠9♥ to take the pot.
The action was joined as Alexander Kostritsyn had committed his remaining stack, roughly 100,000, into the middle of the felt, and was hoping to see twice as much come back courtesy of Taylor Black.
Once the cards were exposed, though, it didn't make for good viewing for Kostritsyn, who was at risk and dominated.

Michael Mizrachi opened to 11,000 from the cutoff and Steve Heim defended from the big blind.
The flop came 7♠A♠Q♠ and Heim check-called a 15,000 continuation bet from Mizrachi.
Both players checked the Q♦ turn leading to the 8♦ river. Heim bet 35,000 and Mizrachi called.
Mizrachi had aces up with A♣5♥ but Heim had trip queens with Q♥3♣ to win the hand.
Sylwia Studniarz raised to 13,000 from early position and Craig Welko called in middle position while Joseph Cheong called in the big blind.
The flop rolled out 6♠7♣9♦ and Cheong checked over to Studniarz who bet 20,000 to see only Welko call.
On the turn K♣, Studniarz bet 60,000 and Welko thought for a little bit before tossing his hand into the muck.
Christopher Daub opened from the hijack, but Maria Gonzalez quickly took control with a three-bet to 32,000 from the cutoff. Daub made the call to see a flop.
The dealer spread K♦2♣3♠, and Daub led out for 15,000. Gonzalez called without hesitation.
Both players checked the 5♠ turn, and again checked the Q♣ river.
Daub tabled A♣J♣ for ace high, but Gonzalez revealed J♦J♠ for a solid pair and dragged in the pot.
Table 541 features one of the largest stacks in the field with Mexico-based Tomas Szwarcberg, while several other notables are in the mix including [Removed:599] and Samantha Cohen. [Removed:601] defended against a raise by Richard Rice as they headed to the A♣8♣4♦ flop. [Removed:601] checked, Rice bet 28,000 into 30,000 and won the pot right there.
Oliver Braddock opened from early position and then called a three-bet from Neil Warren, who was in the big blind.
The duo saw a flop of 10♥2♦10♣, where Warren continued for 30,000. Braddock called.
Braddock called another bet of 55,000 on the 6♣ turn and was faced with a bet of 70,000 on the 2♣ river. After thinking for a while, Braddock shoved, which gave Warren a test for the remaining 170,000 in his stack. Several minutes went by before Warren eventually made the call.
Braddock then showed J♠10♠ for a full house, and Warren's Q♥Q♦ was no good, which ended his Main Event run.
Phirom Peterschmidt saw his stack reduced to fumes when Craig Sturdivant flopped a set with 4♦4♥ on a board of J♥4♣2♥6♥5♦ and was down to 22,000 only.
Those last few chips went in the middle thereafter and Ainiwaer Aierpati called.
