Richard Freitas opened to 20,000 from middle position and was called by Carlos Enriquez in the hijack. Stephane Revelly then squeezed to 75,000 from the cutoff and Adam Grovenstein shoved for 80,000 total from the big blind. Freitas and Enriquez got out of the way, but Revelly called for 5,000 more to put Grovenstein at risk.

In the final hand before the break, arriving on a 10♥5♦8♥K♦ turn, Jeff Gross checked from the big blind to Sylwia Studniarz in early position. Studniarz bet 60,000, and Gross moved all in for 262,000.
Studniarz spent more than five minutes in the tank, during which she and Gross were almost constantly talking to each other. Eventually, Studniarz hinted she might have queen-jack for a straight draw.
"If you have queen-jack, do what you have to do," Gross said to her.
The clock was then called on Studniarz, and she called off during her countdown.

Studniarz's straight draw missed on the 6♣ river, and Gross raked in a double-up with his two pair.
Jameson Painter raised to 20,000 in middle position and Zhou Lin three-bet to 58,000 on the button. Painter then moved all in and Lin snap-called for 238,000.

It was a classic flip, but Lin didn't have to sweat it out for long as the J♥8♣5♥ flop gave him top set. The rest of the board ran out 4♦10♠ and he reached across the table to give Painter a fist bump before raking in the double up.
Yinan Zhou opened to 20,000 from middle position and Gareth Devereux shoved for his last 50,000 on the button. It was folded back to Zhou, who called to put Devereux at risk.

Devereux got it in well ahead, but the Q♠J♥2♠ flop gave Devereux a real sweat against Zhou's open-ended straight draw.
The 8♣ turn changed nothing, but the 9♥ river filled Zhou's straight — eliminating Devereux from contention.
James Calderaro opened to 22,000 from under the gun, Amritraj Singh called from the button and William Jia defended from the big blind.
The flop came 5♠7♦4♦. Jia led with a 16,000 bet and Calderaro folded Q♣J♣ while Singh called.
Jia continued for 31,000 on the 9♠ turn and Singh called again.
On the 9♣ river Jia checked and Singh bet 102,000. Jia called and showed 10♥7♥ for two pair, nines and sevens. Singh had a bigger two pair with 10♠10♣ to win the pot.
Pavels Spirins kicked things off in middle position. Action folded to Amit Sharma in the big blind, and he made the call.
Sharma checked the J♦7♦2♦ flop, and Spirins continued for 15,000, which Sharma snap-called.
Play repeated on the J♥ turn. Sharma checked, and Spirins fired 65,000 this time, and Sharma made a quick call.
On the 9♣ river, Sharma checked once more, but this time Spirins checked back. Sharma tabled 4♣4♦ for two pair, jacks and fours, which seemed enough as Spirins' cards found the muck.
Terence Reid kicked the action off from early position with a raise to 20,000. When play folded its way around to Tarmo Tammel in the small blind, he moved all in for 68,000.
Reid requested a count of the all-in stack, and once confirmed, he made the call.
