Lapka Left Short as Jung Exerts Pressure

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a pot worth 195,000 on a completed board of 5AK9Q, Justin Lapka checked from the big blind to Chahn Jung in middle position. Jung then bet enough to cover Lapka, making a call require an all-in for 53,000.

Lapka spent some minutes in the tank, eventually folding to leave himself with under seven big blinds on the soft bubble.

Curcio Applies Some Pressure

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

While many of the other tables are moving at a snail's pace and the clock is continuously being called, Luigi Curcio and Franklin Azevedo got involved in a large pot on the very first hand. Curcio raised it up in middle position and Azevedo flat-called on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of 433 where Curcio continued with a bet which Azevedo called.

The turn was the 10 and Curcio fired out another bet of 50,000. Azevedo still called and the 5 completed the board. Curcio jammed all in as the bigger stack and Azevedo had a decision for his stack of 180,000. He thought for over two minutes but finally decided to lay his hand down.

Bubble Pressure Shows

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

When the action folded to Jacob Frank in the small blind, he made a minimum raise of 16,000. Andreas Staschewski, in the big blind, didn't waste too much time before moving all in.

Frank had 132,000 left in his stack after his raise. He spent some time in the tank, to the point where the clock was called, giving him limited time to act.

As his time to decide was ticking away, he folded 99 face up.

Beef Between Lyall and Taylor

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

It just so happened that Dean Lyall and Everton Taylor have been seated next to each other on Table 402 and things got off to a rocky start to begin Day 4. Lyall raised it up to 16,000 in the cutoff and Taylor was stalling on the button, which led to Lyall calling the clock.

Things quickly got heated, and it appears that it dates back to previous years from Taylor saying, "We're not doing this again! Remember what I did to you last year?"

The floor was called to the table, and the two players were asked not to speak to each other, but that hasn't stopped them yet. Lyall continued to call the clock on Taylor and will likely continue to do so until the bubble bursts.

Enselme Takes from Dattani

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Umang Dattani raised to 18,000 in middle position and got called by hijack Arnaud Enselme to see a flop.

The flop came Q95 and both players checked. The turn 6 dropped, and Dattani fired 31,000. Enselme decided to stay on with a call.

Dattani slowed down and checked the river Q. Enselme took a few seconds to consider his actions. He fired 90,000.

Dattani gave him a short stare-down before conceding both his hand and the pot to Enselme.

Margolin Comes From Behind to Double

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Timur Margolin shoved for just over 100,000 from middle position and was called by Scott Baumstein in the cutoff to be put at risk.

Timur Margolin: AQAll in
Scott Baumstein: AK

Margolin found himself dominated and in need of help to keep his Main Event run alive, and the QJ7J4 runout was just what Margolin needed — improving him to queens-up for the double up as the soft bubble continues.

Jung Ends Lapka's Run

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Justin Lapka: A7 All in
Chahn Jung: KJ

Ignas Jasinevicius raised to 16,000 in early position before Giorgiy Skhulukhiya moved all in from middle position. Action eventually got back to Jasinevicius, and he snap-called for around 160,000.
