Phil Laak was all-in at risk for the last of his stack with Matthew Kramer making the call to try and send him to the payout desk.

It was a flip that would either see Laak double up or be eliminated. The 10K9 flop propelled Kramer into the lead with top pair. Laak couldn't find a seven on the 8 turn or 3 river, and he was out of the tournament.

Aido Forces a Fold From Zavorotnaja

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Anastasija Zavorotnaja opened to 16,000 first to act and was called by Sergio Aido on the button.

Aido then called a 17,000 bet from Zavorotnaja on the K44 flop and a 30,000 bet from Zavorotnaja on the 10 turn.

Zavorotnaja checked after the 6 completed the board, and Aido bet approximately 170,000 — leaving himself a single T-1,000 chip behind.

Zavorotnaja let her hand go, and Aido collected the pot.

Two More Fall in the Money

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Stanislav Halatenko got the remainder of his stack all in preflop versus Michael Parisi, and received bad news when the cards were turned over.

Stanislav Halatenko: A10 All in
Michael Parisi: KK

There was no help for Halatenko on the 2J93J runout, and he joined the list of players to make it into the money before falling.

On a nearby table, Ivaylo Panev suffered the same fate, finding himself all in for his 120,000 and dominated by Eric Worre.

Ivaylo Panev: AQ All in
Eric Worre: AK

The dealer provided the 73464, which could do nothing to save Panev.

Allacher Doubles Through Sheils, Grimes Out

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Scott Allacher opened the action with a raise to 18,000 from under the gun, picking up calls from Alberto Destrade and Harlan Karnofsky. When the action reached Brandon Sheils in the hijack, he pumped it up to 80,000.

On the button, Sean Grimes had just 70,000 left and moved all in. The blinds got out of the way, but Destrade, Karnofsky, and Allacher all called the three-bet, giving Grimes a chance to multiply his stack.

The flop came K67, and Allacher immediately shoved for 137,000. Destrade and Karnofsky quickly folded, but Sheils called, taking the hand to a three-way showdown.

Sean Grimes: AQAll in
Scott Allacher: 77All in
Brandon Sheils: QJ

Allacher had flopped a set, leaving Grimes needing running cards and Sheils looking for spades. The 4 turn brought no help, and the J river sealed the pot for Allacher, who scored a huge double. Unfortunately for Grimes, his Main Event run ended.
