William Pengelly opened to 50,000 from middle position and Ryuta Nakai defended from the big blind.

The flop came 5♠A♣10♠ and Nakai check-called a 50,000 continuation bet from Pengelly.

Both players checked the 2♣ turn and 5♥ river. Nakai had 7♦7♣ for two pair, sevens and fives but Pengelly had him beat with Q♠Q♣ to take the pot.

Isaac Haxton raised to 50,000 in the hijack with K♠7♠. Alessandro Predaroli flat-called in the cutoff with K♥10♥, and Fabrice Bigot's 7♥7♦ on the button came along as well.

Stephen Chidwick called in the big blind with 5♥5♦, after which the Q♦Q♠4♠ flop was dealt. It checked to Haxton, who bet the minimum of 25,000. Predaroli folded, Bigot called, and Chidwick check-called.

The A♥ turn was then checked to Bigot, who fired 160,000. Chidwick folded his pocket pair, but Haxton check-raised to 350,000. After some time in the tank, Bigot let go of the best hand, shipping the pot to Haxton.

Dong Chen raised to 380,000 under the gun, leaving himself just one 5,000 chip behind, and Paul DiMascio reshoved in the hijack. The table folded back around to Chen who checked the clock to see how many players were left before tossing in his last chip.

"Please," DiMascio pleaded going to the 7♠6♥3♥ flop. "Oh God," he added as he missed the 4♦ turn, but the A♥ river gave him top pair and the bustout.

"Yes!" he shouted out, lifting his arms into the air. "Sorry, I get a little too emotional," he said to his tablemates while Chen was sent to the rail.

"I get emotional, too. You're Spanish, you're bred to be emotional," tablemate Richard Buckingham said to Juan Carlos Vecino.

"But I don't show it at the table," Vecino added.

Isaac Haxton looked at Q♠Q♦ in the cutoff, which he raised to 55,000. Alessandro Predaroli elected to three-bet his A♣9♠ on the button, dropping a reraise to 165,000 over the line.

Haxton spent some time in the tank before he four-bet all in, covering Predaroli. Predaroli quickly folded as Haxton won the pot without showdown.

Jeremy Kottler, the new addition to the feature table, raised to 50,000 in the hijack with A♣Q♥. Joey Padron called with J♥J♣ in the cutoff, after which the 5♠10♥2♥ flop was dealt.

Kottler continued for 40,000, which Padron raised to 150,000. Kottler called to the 2♠ turn, which he checked over to Padron. Padron continued firing for 260,000.

After some thought, Kottler laid down his ace-high, forfeiting the pot to his neigbor.

At the same table, Matt Affleck has around 875,000 after besting his 542nd-place finish in last year's Main Event.

With two players seeing a board of 2♣J♣5♣4♥ and 190,000 in the middle, Brian Arbaugh checked from the big blind and Esther Taylor bet 90,000 from the hijack. Arbaugh called.

Arbaugh checked the 10♥ river and Taylor bet 580,000, leaving just 35,000 behind. Arbaugh called again.

Arbaugh had top pair with K♠J♥ but Taylor had the nut-flush with A♣6♣ to effectively double up through Arbaugh, who was left with under ten big blinds.

Alessandro Predaroli raised to 55,000 from early position with Q♠J♥. Joey Padron flatted his button with 10♦9♦, Thomas Boivin called in the small blind with J♠8♠, and Stephen Hesse defended his big blind with 9♣5♣.

The quartet of players checked through the 7♥7♦8♣ flop and K♥ turn. The 7♣ river then completed the board, which Boivin also checked. Hesse bet 160,000 with nine-high, and Predaroli and Padron quickly mucked their hands.

Boivin spent some time in the tank before he folded the best hand as Hesse got his multi-way bluff through.

Alessandro Predaroli was in the cutoff, raising to 55,000. Stephen Chidwick sat in the big blind and tossed in a call.

Predaroli bet 50,000 on the A♣10♥2♦ flop, which Chidwick check-raised to 215,000. Predaroli called, releasing the K♣ turn from the deck. Chidwick slowed down and checked, with Predaroli checking behind.

The 6♣ river then completed the board. Chidwick loaded 145,000 chips into his barrel and fired them at Predaroli, who quickly called. Chidwick could only show five-high with 5♦3♠, leaving Predaroli to take the pot with A♠8♣.
