Holding A♦10♣, Murilo Milhomem raised to 125,000 from the hijack with Stephen Hesse calling from the small blind with 7♣5♣, and Paul Gibbons defending his big blind holding A♥3♠.
The three players saw the flop come down 9♣J♣5♥. Following two checks, Milhomem bet 180,000. Hesse called, but Gibbons folded.
The 9♥ turn checked through for the 6♣ to fall on the river. Hesse bet 285,000, which was enough to get Milhomem to fold.
The remaining 162 players have been sent on their first 20-minute break of the day.

Mounir Tajiou raised from the small blind and Seungmook Jung called in the big blind.
They went to a flop of 10♦4♠5♥, where Tajiou bet, Jung raised, Tajiou shoved, and Jung called off his stack of 525,000.

Jung had flopped a pair and was way ahead of Tajiou, who had a total bluff. Jung improved to a straight draw on the 7♠ turn, and his pair held up when the 9♠ hit the river, which earned him the double-up.
Will Kassouf raised to 155,000 in the cutoff and Hieu Le three-bet the button to 450,000. That action happened when the level was still underway, but the subsequent call had already ushered into the break. On the 6♥5♣3♣ flop, Kassouf checked and Le bet 350,000 with around 2,850,000 behind.
That sent Kassouf into a long tank with several spectators trying to watch from closer nearby while everyone else was already on break. Kassouf kept murmuring and mentioned "I can't call, it is either raise or fold .... if you don't say anything, I will raise."
Some nine minutes into the break, Kassouf tapped the table and folded while a stoic Le raked in the pot having said no word during the hand at all. The table was then moved to the feature table.

Daniele Primerano made it 160,000 with K♠J♥ from under the gun and Michael Mizrachi called from middle position. Hans Bosman squeezed to 540,000 out of the small blind, and only Mizrachi called.
Heads-up to the J♦2♣8♠ flop that saw Bosman bet 325,000. Mizrachi stuck around with a call.
The A♣ peeled off on the turn and both players checked to see the 3♣ appear on the river. Another two checks followed, which meant Bosman turned over the winner with K♥K♣ for a pair of kings. Mizrachi mucked 7♥7♦, and the pot was sent to Bosman.
Alan Sternberg was all in for around 1,400,000 in middle position against the bigger-stacked Florian Ribouchon behind him.

Sternberg couldn't pull ahead in the flip as the board ran out 4♣7♦Q♠10♣5♠ to mark his elimination.
Zhao Liu moved all in for 940,000 in early position and William Camp called in middle position. Action then folded around to Chih Fan in the big blind who announced a raise to 2,000,000. The dealer counted out his stack and found he only had 1,945,000 remaining.
The decision went back to Camp, who took a minute before calling, having both players covered and at risk.

"Oh my God," Fan said, standing up from his seat and taking a deep breath as he awaited the flop. The dealer turned over K♣J♠7♦ to give Fan a set, while Camp picked up a straight draw.
The turn was the 8♣, while the Q♥ arrived on the river too late for Camp as Fan scooped the pot to double off Camp and send Liu to the rail.
