Serhii Popovych

The chips went into the middle preflop and Serhii Popovych had the best of it against Yuchen Chen, one of the few players remaining in the field who stacks his chips in tens.

Serhii Popovych: JJ All in
Yuchen Chen: AJ

Popovych only needed to dodge aces and broadway cards but was suddenly left with a single out or running straight cards on the A98 flop. The 8 turn reduced his outs to one and that never came with the 3 river.

Albert Calderon made it 200,000 to go with 66 from under the gun and Mounir Tajiou defended his big blind holding K7.

They saw a flop of 573 where Tajiou check-called a bet of 250,000 from Calderon to see the K on the turn. Tajiou checked again with his two pair and Calderon didn't slow down as he bet 450,000. Tajiou then put in the check-raise to 1,100,000, and Calderon called with his pair and gutshot.

An A hit the river and Tajiou shoved 260,000 into the pot, and Calderon called it off in the hope his opponent was bluffing.

Tajiou approaching 4,000,000 after that double-up.
