Flowers, Barash Discuss the Weather

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Frank Flowers and Nadav Barash built a pot of around 1,500,000 as they went to the turn on a board of KK62. Barash then bet 400,000 from middle position, and Flowers moved all in from early position.

Barash went deep into the tank for several minutes before asking Flowers what he had. The dealer then told Flowers he couldn't discuss the hand.

"He asked me a question. Can I at least talk about the weather? It's sunny outside, that's for damn sure," Flowers joked.

Barash then asked Flowers what the temperature was outside. "Can I answer the weather question?" Flowers asked the dealer.

"Only if it's accurate," the dealer joked to a round of laughs from the table.

Barash eventually ended up folding. "You show and I'll show for the cameras," Flowers said, but Barash returned his cards face down. Flowers paused for a moment as he debated whether to show until the dealer joked that he was going to call the clock. Flowers ended up turning over K10.

"I'm not supposed to fold," Barash said.

"What did you have?" Flowers asked.

"A really big hand," Barash replied.

"I showed you my hand, and you won't even lie to me?" Flowers added.

Green Celebrates a Table Change

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Joseph Ozimok opened to 175,000 on the button with KK and Will Kassouf called from the small blind with A4. Hieu Le three-bet to 750,000 in the big blind with K5 and Ozimok four-bet to 1,350,000 in the big blind. The clock was called on Kassouf who was now given just five seconds to act.

Despite arguing with the tournament supervisor, Kassouf has now been put on a five-second clock for at least the rest of the day. Kassouf's hand was declared dead and Le quickly mucked his cards.

Richard Green was then moved from the table, something that both players seemed thrilled about. "I feel like I won the Main Event!" Green put his hands in the air to celebrate as he walked away.

"Don't blind yourself out, watch your step on the way out. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Dust is going to dust. He was steaming. He was absolutely steamed!" Kassouf kept spouting.

Milhomem Ends Camp's Run

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Murilo Milhomem
Murilo Milhomem

William Camp was just seen leaving his seat, saying his goodbyes to his tables after a big all-in encounter with Murilo Milhomem.

Milhomem recapped the preflop action. Chih Fan raised in middle position before Alen Tenorio three-bet from the hijack. Murilo Milhomem put in the cold four-bet from the cutoff and then William Camp five-bet jammed for around 1,900,000. Fan and Tenorio folded, with Milhomem calling.

William Camp: AKAll in
Murilo Milhomem: KK

Camp had three outs, and failed to find the ace on the 1063 flop. Tenorio appeared less than impressed, saying he folded pocket tens, which would've made a set.

Camp's run was then officially over after the 3 turn and J runout.

Painter Makes the Right Laydown as Schulze Climbs Again

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Jameson Painter
Jameson Painter

Jameson Painter made it 200,000 with QQ from early position and Sebastian Schulze three-bet AK in the hijack to 600,000. When it got back to Painter, he called.

Both players hit top pair on the 4A7 flop, where Painter check-called a bet of 400,000 from Schulze to see the 2 turn. Painter tapped the table once more, then Schulze fired 1,500,000. Painter slowly reached for chips and made the call.

A 6 on the river was as clean as they come for Schulze, and the action was on him after Painter checked. Painter had 4,700,000 remaining and Schulze wanted all of it as he shoved, putting Painter to the test. It only took around 30 seconds for Painter to lay down his ace-queen, and he'll be thankful he did when he watches it back.

Skhulukhiya Doubles Through Merson

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya

The cards of Greg Merson were already in the muck and he paid off the double-up to table short stack Giorgiy Skhulukhiya for 1,035,000 total. Skhulukhiya's cards were still exposed as his AQ hit top pair on the 985Q2 runout and the production crew confirmed that Merson's pocket jacks had been no good.

The double for Skhulukhiya was worth 1,035,000 and that put a small dent into the above-average stack of Merson.

A Perfect Time to Pick Up Cowboys

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Hans Bosman raised 77 to 200,000 from under the gun before Kyle Grupp three-bet to 625,000 from middle position. Nazar Buhaiov jammed his last 1,300,000 into the middle from the button, forcing Bosman to tank fold. Grupp smilled, and reluctantly made the call.

Kyle Grupp: Q10

Grupp was caught making a move, and needed a lot of help from the dealer to beat the Cowboys of Buhaiov.

Grupp picked up a straight draw on the 992 flop, but he was unable to hit it as the rest of the board came 88, and Buhaiov doubled up.

Francis Anderson
Francis Anderson

Wagner Wysotchanski opened to 200,000 in early position and Francis Anderson three-bet to 550,000 in the hijack. Wysotchanski called.

Wysotchanski checked on the flop of 4A3 and Anderson checked back. Wysotchanski then bet 400,000 on the 3 turn and Anderson called.

The 2 river completed the board and Wysotchanski quickly bet 2,000,000. Anderson folded to hang onto less than that.

"Good fold, Francis," Matthew Wantman said from the rail.

"Probably," Anderson replied.

A big pot was brewing between Octavian Voegele and Pedro Padilha, and tablemate Daniel Iachan filled in the details.

Voegele had bet 200,000 from the hijack on a flop of Q96 before Padilha raised to 750,000 in the big blind. Voegele called to the 5 turn, where Padilha bet another 1,300,000. Voegele again called.

The river was the 7 and Padilha moved all in for 5,655,000. "Sorry guys," Voegele told his tablemates as he took several minutes to ponder the decision.

"Take all your time," Thomas Eychenne replied. Voegele ended up folding and Padilha allowed the table to pick one of his cards. Eychenne selected the J while Padilha raked in the big pot.

Bogdanov Done Away by Dunaway

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Yulian Bogdanov
Yulian Bogdanov

The action folded to Yulian Bogdanov on the button and he open-jammed his short stack of 1,230,000. Table chip leader Braxton Dunaway called from the small blind and the cards were flipped over.

Yulian Bogdanov: A10 All in
Braxton Dunaway: AQ

The KK5 flop opened up some split pot outs while the Q turn paired up the kicker of Dunaway, leaving Bogdanov with some outs to a straight and flush. Neither of those escape routes came with the 8 river to send Bogdanov to the rail just outside of the top 100 spots for $70,000.
