Correia Is Here to Win

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Muhamet Perati raised to 600,000 in middle position and Ruben Correia three-bet to 1,600,000 in the cutoff. Perati called and they went heads-up to a flop of AJ3. Perati checked to Correia who bet 900,000 and Perati let his hand go.

On the next hand, Joseph Ozimok opened to 600,000 from under the gun and Correia three-bet to 1,600,000 again. Octavian Voegele slid out a four-bet to 3,300,000 which got Ozimok to quickly fold. Correia thought for a minute and then five-bet jammed all in. Voegele dumped his cards in the muck and Correia slammed his fist on the table.

"That's power poker!" Correia said. "I'm here to win this tournament. I'm not afraid to bust."

"I think we're all here to win," Voegele replied.

"Nice hand," Correia said to the loser of the pot.

"Thank you," Voegele sarcastically replied again.

Lee Folds as Clock Called

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Daehyung Lee
Daehyung Lee

Joey Padron raised to 600,000 from the hijack and Daehyung Lee called out of the big blind.

They went to a flop of 59Q, where Lee check-called a bet from Padron to see the 10 hit the turn. Lee checked, Padron fired again for 1,300,000, and Lee called.

A J on the river made the board a lot wetter and after Lee checked, Padron put the pressure on with a bet of 5,000,000. Lee went into the tank for around two minutes and was looking up at the Event Center ceiling while trying to come to a decision. Eventually, the clock was called and Lee quickly folded, allowing Padron to take the pot.

Sergio Veloso

Chad Power made it 600,000 to go from the hijack with J9 as first active hand after the break. He was called by Richard Freitas and Sergio Veloso with K8 out of the blinds to see a flop of 842. Two checks later, Power continued for 1,100,000 and earned another two calls to the 7 turn.

Freitas checked and Veloso now bet 1,700,000. Power sent his cards into the muck whereas Freitas reluctantly called and checked the 7 on the river, Veloso checked back and mucked when he was shown the 22 for deuces full of sevens.

Pedro Padilha raised to 600,000 in middle position and Kenny Hallaert called in the small blind.

The flop came Q108 and Padilha bet 600,000. Hallaert called and the J fell on the turn.

Padilha then bet 1,300,000 and Hallaert again called. Both players checked the A river, and Hallaert showed KQ for a pair of queens to win the pot and climb up past 50,000,000.

Leo Margets
Leo Margets

Lautaro Guerra opened in the cutoff, and Leo Margets in the small blind called. Michael Mizrachi was the big blind and three-bet to 2,500,000, and Guerra quickly went out of the way. Margets then went all in for 6,050,000 and Mizrachi promptly called.

Leo Margets: 77All in
Michael Mizrachi:A10

The flop came down 7KJ, and despite Margets hitting a set, there were a few outs left to improve Mizrachi's hand.

But the 10 turn and the 9 river didn't change anything, and Margets got a full double-up with a healthy stack to stay in the tournament.

John Wasnock was folding his way down to nearly nothing but finally picked up a hand at the most opportune time. Nazar Buhaiov raised to 600,000 on the button and Wasnock shoved all in for 2,100,000 in the small blind. Buhaiov asked for a count and then eventually called.

Ruben Correia raised from under the gun to 600,000 and Muhamet Perati put in a three-bet to 2,400,000 from the big blind. Correia called.
