Lee Bounces Back Against Freitas

Richard Freitas opened to 1,000,000 with the 6♠6♦ and Daehyung Lee called out of his big blind with the A♣2♦. The K♣9♦5♣ flop was checked by Lee, who subsequently called a bet of 700,000. That led them to the 10♣ turn on which Lee picked up the nut flush draw. He checked once again and Freitas checked it back to the A♦ river this time.

Once Lee checked to him, Freitas bet 2,200,000 and Lee called with the rivered pair of aces to win the pot.

Hallaert Wins Two From the Blinds

Tomas Szwarcberg limped in from the small blind before Kenny Hallaert raised to 1,500,000 with 3♦2♣. Szwarcberg called and the flop came 8♠7♦4♣.

Hallaert then bet 1,200,000 and Scwarzberg folded K♥10♦.

Hallaert limped in the next hand with Q♦7♠, Joshua Beckenstein raised to 1,350,000, and Hallaert called.

Beckenstein bet 700,000 on the Q♣J♠J♦ flop and Hallaert called with two pair. The turn was the 2♠ and Beckenstein bet another 2,900,000.

Hallaert again called as the J♣ river improved him to a full house. Both players checked and Beckenstein mucked after Hallaert turned over his cards, taking down the last pot at this table as the field prepared for the three-table redraw.

Jarod Minghini made it 1,000,000 to go with the A♠J♥ and Muhamet Perati called in the cutoff holding the dominated Q♠J♠. Following the 9♥7♥4♥ flop, Minghini checked before calling a bet of 1,000,000 by Perati.

The K♠ turn now had both players check and Minghini led the Q♣ river for 1,700,000. Perati had improved on the river but ended up folding the best hand.

On the right hand feature side, Joshua Beckenstein pushed all-in for 6,800,000 in the cutoff and Stefan Nemetz went all-in over the top for 9,900,000 on the button to isolate.

Diego Ponce raised to 1,000,000 under the gun and Richard Freitas called in middle position. Pedro Padilha then moved all in for 10,250,000 in the hijack and Ponce folded, but Freitas snap-called to put his countryman at risk.

Padilha had shoved right into Freitas' aces as the flop came K♦8♥4♣, giving him a glimmer of hope with top pair. The 4♦ turn was no help and Padilha was looking for one of the last two kings in the deck to stay alive, but he missed the 9♣ river and was eliminated in 26th place.

Veloso picked up a gutshot with the 7♠ turn and bet 2,400,000, Schulze called.

After the 4♦ river, Veloso checked and gave up to a bet of 3,500,000 by Schulze.
