Richard Freitas

Richard Freitas raised to 500,000 under the gun and Luka Bojovic called in the big blind.

The flop came 982 and Freitas bet 450,000. Bojovic called and the 3 fell on the turn.

Freitas then bet 1,200,000 and Bojovic again called. The 6 came on the river and Freitas bet 5,500,000.

Bojovic rested his head on the rail of the table and tanked for several minutes until eventually folding his hand.

Thomas Eychenne

Maksim Pisarenko opened to 500,000 from middle position and Thomas Eychenne shoved from the next seat for 4,125,000. When the action got back to Pisarenko, he called.

Thomas Eychenne: AK All in
Maksim Pisarenko: KK

Eychenne needed some help from the dealer, but didn't find much to work with on the 557 flop. An 8 on the turn left the Frenchman drawing to just an ace, but the 7 on the river filled out the board, ending Eychenne's run.

Power Takes a Chunk Off Afriat

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Eric Afriat raised to 550,000 under the gun with 88, Chad Power three-bet to 1,300,000 in the cutoff, and Afriat called with the A3.

Power bet another 800,000 on the 652 flop and Afriat called. Afriat then led out for 1,800,000 on the 7 turn, and Power called.

Afriat checked the A river, and Power bet 1,600,000. Afriat tapped the felt and slid his cards into the muck as Power took down the pot.

Nadav Barash Eliminated in 46th Place ($200,000)

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Nadav Barash
Nadav Barash

Daehyung Lee opened from middle position to 500,000 and Nadav Barash three-bet the button to 1,250,000. When it got back to Lee, he called.

On the 6910 flop, Lee checked and Barash put out a bet of 2,150,000. Lee wasted no time in moving all in, and Barash snap-called for his stack of around 9,000,000 total.

Nadav Barash: 87 All in
Daehyung Lee: JJ

Barash had flopped the nuts and had a flush draw for backup, which left Lee drawing extremely thin. A K on the turn did give Lee three outs to a straight draw, but Barash was still a huge favorite to double up.

It's not over until it's over, though, as Barash found out when the Q dropped on the river, which gave Lee a bigger straight. Barash couldn't believe it, but he hit the rail as Lee's stack swelled to nearly 30,000,000.

Pisarenko Shies Away from a Four-Bet, Gregg Seizes the Opportunity

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Tony Gregg raised to 500,000 in the cutoff and Johan Schumacher three-bet to 1,400,000 on the button. Maksim Pisarenko was in the small blind and took a minute to count out a four-bet of over 3,000,000. He put it off to the side and then deliberated for an additional two minutes before he finally decided to fold.

Adam Hendrix quickly folded his big blind and Gregg took the opportunity to four-bet shove all in. Schumacher quickly dispatched his cards to the muck and Gregg raked in the pot.

"I almost four-bet," Pisarenko said after the hand.

"No way," Hendrix responded with a laugh.

Minghini Takes the Pot

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Chris Dombrowski had just taken his seat when he wasted no time getting involved, opening to 525,000 from middle position. Jarod Minghini defended his big blind, and they went heads-up to a flop of 2K2.

Minghini checked, and Dombrowski fired a continuation bet of 350,000. Minghini called to see the A hit the turn, where both players slowed down and checked.

The J river brought action back to Minghini, who led out for 625,000. Dombrowski took a moment but ultimately decided to fold, conceding the pot to Minghini in their first encounter at the table.

Will Kassouf

Will Kassouf is playing for a shot at $10 million and a World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event bracelet. But the controversial motormouth has continued his antics on Day 7, leading to a multiple-round penalty.

The British poker player engaged in a heated argument with Jack Effel, the WSOP's Senior Vice President of Poker Operations, heading into a break on Saturday. Kassouf, in that 10-minute conversation, took a shot at those who've been critical of his behavior during the Main Event.
