Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Tomas Szwarcberg
Tomas Szwarcberg

Pedro Padilha raised to 500,000 with A2 and Murilo Milhomem three-bet to 2,350,000 from two seats over to force out his countryman with the superior AK.

Stefan Nemetz then raised to 500,000 with A3 and Tomas Szwarcberg called out of the big blind with his 88. On the 994 flop, Szwarcberg check-raised from 300,000 to 875,000 and Nemetz called. The 6 turn was checked and the J fell on the river. Szwarcberg now bet 400,000 and Nemetz eventually opted for a raise to 2,100,000.

Szwarcberg needed some thought and called to win the pot with his nines and eights.

Veloso Raises Big on the River for Afriat to Fold His Full House

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Sergio Veloso
Sergio Veloso

Eric Afriat raised to 550,000 in the cutoff with 86 and Sergio Veloso called on the button with the K10.

The flop came K88 and Afriat bet 300,000. Veloso called, and the 9 fell on the turn.

Afriat then bet 1,000,000, and Veloso called. The river was the 6 and Afriat bet 2,500,000, but this time Veloso came back with a raise to 6,900,000.

Afriat spent several minutes trying to talk to Veloso while shuffling his chips around in his hand, but Veloso revealed nothing, and Afriat eventually folded his full house, which would have beaten Veloso's flush.

Joey Padron raised to 600,000 on the button and Johan Schumacher defended from the big blind. The flop fell J107 and Schumacher check-called a bet of 550,000 from Pardon.

Schumacher checked one more time and Pardon checked it back. Schumacher turned over Q7 for two pair but Pardon held QJ for a better two pair to claim the pot.

Mizrachi Takes a Small One

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Lautaro Guerra kicked things off in the hijack with a raise to 500,000, and Michael Mizrachi called his big blind.

Both layers checked the 86J flop and the K turn.

On the K river, Mizrachi fired a bet of 600,000, and Guerra made the call. Mizrachi showed A8 for two pair kings and eights, which seemed enough for Guerra as his cards found the muck.

Will Kassouf

Stefan Nemetz raised to 500,000 first to act with the QQ and Will Kassouf called in the big blind as the flop brought A87. The check of Kassouf led to Nemeth's bet of 300,000 and Kassouf gave him a stare down for a couple of seconds before coming along.

The 8 followed on the turn and Kassouf checked amid a growing rail on the right feature table. Nemetz checked it back to the 6 river and Kassouf went into the tank while staring at the board and his opponent. Both checked again and Kassouf won the pot with the A10 for aces and eights.

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Ruben Correia
Ruben Correia

Ruben Correia raised to 500,000 from the cutoff and John Wasnock defended his big blind.

On the 37K flop, both checked to the 3 turn. Wasnock checked, Correia bet 500,000, Wasnock raised to 1,300,000, and Correia called.

An A hit the river and after some consideration, Wasnock used two hands to bet 2,000,000. Correia took just a few seconds before he called.

Wasnock showed a set with 77, and Correia flashed AK for top two pair before he mucked.

"I lost the minimum," said Correia after the hand.
