Aces Boost Bendavid into Chip Lead

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Bosco Li open-shoved for 300,000 from early position. Mimoun Bendavid took one look at his cards and slid forward a huge stack of chips, good for around 800,000, and enough to put any other player at the table all in. Nobody wanted to take the risk, and it was a good thing that they didn't.

Bosco Li: A10 All in
Mimoun Bendavid: AA

Li had little hope, and couldn't hit anything on the 58899. The additional chips extended Bendavid's chip lead over the table, as well as giving him the tournament's biggest stack.

Cioffi Makes Pay Jump at Dombrowski's Expense

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Paul Cioffi
Paul Cioffi

Action was picked up on a flop of 32K with just two players still holding cards. Hieu Ngo had bet 15,000 into a pot of 450,000 when checked to. Despite this not being a valid bet size, it was enough to put Christopher Dombrowski all in, who had exactly that much behind.

He was deep in the tank due to the fact that he was on a $700 pay jump bubble, and after some time another player called the clock, and the floor came over. Despite being offered a further 30 seconds, and being one elimination away from a pay jump, he made the call pretty much instantly.

Christopher Dombrowski: A6 All in
Hieu Ngo: KQ

Dombrowski didn't improve on the 410 runout, sending him home. Just seconds later, shouts of "Payout!" were heard one table over, as Paul Cioffi had been eliminated. He was all smiles, wishing luck to his tablemates, and celebrated a little more when he realised that he'd made the pay jump, thanks to Dombrowski's quick call.

Clock Called on Curcio

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Gaetano Dimaria open-shoved his action in the cutoff, with the count standing at 150,000. On his direct left, Joseph Curcio was given a decision as he went into the tank. On a pay jump, another player called clock, and the floor headed over. Curcio decided against waiting the full 30 seconds, and called relatively quickly.

Joseph Curcio: A2 All in
Gaetano Dimaria: AJ

Curcio was drawing even thinner on the K63 flop, as he was downgraded to just two outs. The 6 brought chop outs, but the 8 river was no good, as he bubbled the pay jump.

Sim Super Short Stacked

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Yuhang Chen opened the bidding with a huge raise to 250,000. He left just 10,000 behind. Jaekyung Sim was two doors down, in the cutoff, and with his proximity to a pay jump, he went deep into the tank. The clock was called, and after around 15 seconds he called, leaving just 20,000 behind. Every other player folded.

The dealer put out a flop of 5QA and Yuhang Chen put his final 10,000 into the middle. Sim called.

Yuhang Chen: AK All in
Jaekyung Sim: 1010

The 86 runout gave Chen the double, and left Sim with just 10,000 chips. He managed to spin it up to 60,000, making the pay jump, before being eliminated.
