Correa Can't Believe It

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Gilad Rubinsky opened the action from middle position, with a raise to 60,000. Daniel Correa then shoved for 205,000 from the cutoff, and action folded all the way back round to Rubinsky. After some deliberation, he made the call.

Daniel Correa: JJ All in
Gilad Rubinsky: J9

Rubinsky was absolutely dominated, but left Correa drawing to just a single out following the 99Q flop. Correa was unable to boat over boat, meaning the 48 runout ended his bracelet dream

No Ace For Alvear

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Pablo Alvear was all in and at risk for his remaining 162,000, after having gotten it all in preflop against the dominating hand of Mimoun Bendavid.

Pablo Alvear: AQ All in
Mimoun Bendavid: QQ

Alvear was searching for a Greenstein, but all the 6K4J2 runout offered him was Broadway dreams on the turn, which wouldn't come through.

Roque Unable to Pay Jump

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Following an early position raise to 25,000 from Dinesh Singham, Callum Roque opted to three-bet to 75,000, leaving just a single 5,000 chip behind. Mickael Vassallo then shoved his button for 126,000, and Singham got out of the way. Four from a pay jump, Roque stalled with his decision. Three eliminations later, on a pay jump bubble, he was still in the tank when Singham called clock. He flicked in the chip with a few seconds remaining.

Callum Roque: A9 All in
Mickael Vassallo: 1010

Roque did hit a pair, but it was the wrong one on the K6479 runout. Despite waiting for so long and making it through three eliminations, it was Roque himself whose bustout gave the remaining players a pay boost.

Yang Chips Up Through Wasserman

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a flop 5K8, Michael Wasserman bet and Haiyang Yang raised it to 100,000. Wasserman reraised and called after Yang went all in:

Haiyang Yang: A6 All in
Michael Wasserman: JJ

Yang hit the flush as the 9 landed on the turn and the Q river didn't change anything, giving the nice pot to Yang while Wasserman was left short stack.

Brutal River Sends Irwin Home

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Anthony Irwin open-shoved under the gun for 30,000. Suren Dharanikota in middle position carved out raising chips, and stuck a big chunk into the middle. Everyone else folded, and he took them back before the runout.

Anthony Irwin: 44 All in
Suren Dharanikota: KJ

The 952 flop was safe for Irwin, as was the 10 turn, but the K river was ultimate pain, as he slammed the table on his way out.

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Suren Dharanikota raised to 20,000 and Michael Wasserman three-bet next to him for 120,000, with around 15,000 chips left behind. Justin Truesdell shoved in the blinds for less and Dharanikota folded:

Justin Truesdell: AA All in
Michael Wasserman: 99

Cukier's Gamble Pays Off

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Talesh Patel opened up the action under the gun, with a raise to 16,000. Paul Cukier then shoved from late position, for his remaining 38,000 chips. Adrien Guyon called all-in from the cutoff for just 15,000, and Patel called too.

"I'm gambling here," said Cukier. Guyon replied, saying that he had "the best hand."

Adrien Guyon: QQ All in
Paul Cukier: 98 All in
Talesh Patel: 66

As if the 23J wasn't enough of a sweat, the 10 turn improved Cukier to both a straight and flush draw. The Q river gave Guyon top set, but improved Cukier to a straight.

"I knew I was gonna win this hand," he said while bringing in the chips.
