[Removed:555] and Fuchs Eliminated On The Money Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Tom Fuchs
Tom Fuchs

This all occurred on the first hand of the hand for hand process.

After losing most of his stack, [Removed:554] moved all in from the hijack for 5,000 which saw Fahredin Mustafov raise to 125,000 and Ryan Feldman on the button, Michael Macchia in the small blind, and Vladimir Minko in the big blind all called.

Everyone checked the flop of 4106 over to the 7 turn where Macchia bet 250,000 and only Minko called.

On the river A Macchia bet 500,000 and Minko tossed his hand into the muck.

[Removed:554]: AK All in
Michael Macchia: 44

Macchia's set of fours was good for the pot to eliminate [Removed:555] from the tournament.

At another table during the same hand, Tom Fuchs moved all in from the small blind and Jovan Kenjic called in the big blind.

Tom Fuchs: AJ All in
Jovan Kenjic: KK

The board ran out Q73610 and the kings held up for Kenjic to take down the pot while Fuchs became the official bubble boy along with Staver.

All of the remaining 38 players are guaranteed a minimum cash for their efforts.

Ace-High Good For Nguyen

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Christopher Ngyuen raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Alex Kulev three-bet to 350,000 in the cutoff which saw only Nguyen call.

The flop rolled out 429 and Nguyen check-called a bet of 270,000 from Kulev.

On the turn 6, Nguyen checked over to Kulev who sized up to 540,000 and Nguyen called.

Both players checked the 4 river and Nguyen turned over AQ for ace-high. Kulev nodded and tossed his hand into the muck while Nguyen neared four million chips.

Merry Christmas Mr. Deeb

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb opened from the cutoff and Jack Roser defended his big blind.

On the J63 flop, Roser led all-in for 750,000, more than a 2.5x overbet, and Deeb called after a small tank.

Jack Roser: 55 All in
Shaun Deeb: J7

Roser decided to go with his fives but he ran into the top pair of Deeb who made the correct call. Nothing changed on the 109 runout as Roser fell the hands of Deeb.

Smith Chops to Almost Triple

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Punnat Punsri opened the action with a raise to 100,000 from the hijack. Dan Smith called all in for his remaining 30,000 in the cutoff, and Manuel Fritz defended his big blind.

On a flop of A59 Fritz checked over to Punsri, who opted to bet just 50,000. Fritz check-raised to 175,000, and Punsri folded.

Dan Smith: A2 All in
Manuel Fritz: A4

The A7 runout meant that the two chopped the pot, and Smith saw what was possibly the start of a slow spin-up.

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Joao Simao opened to 90,000 from early position before Jesse Lonis jammed for 415,000 from the hijack, and Simao called.

Jesse Lonis: 99 All in
Joao Simao: AK

It was a flip as Lonis stayed ahead on the 1072 flop. The J turn gave Simao additional outs but the 10 paired the board on the river as Lonis held on to secure the full double.

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Christopher Nguyen opened the action with a raise to 80,000 under the gun, and Alex Kulev called from the cutoff. Martin Zamani, following a series of blind opens, just called, as he wasn't given the opportunity to repeat his MO. Alex Foxen came along too, as he defended his big blind.

The flop came down JJ5 and action checked all the way to Zamani. He opted to bet out for 140,000, and received three folds. When folding, Kulev showed the Q. Zamani showed the 8

Mustafov Jams On Oya

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov raised to 85,000 in the cutoff and in the big blind, Masashi Oya raised to 375,000 which Mustafov called.

On the flop of Q3J, Oya continued for 275,000 and Mustafov called.

Oya sized up to 500,000 on the turn and just before Mustafov was about to use a time extension, he jammed all in for 2,425,000 effective.

This action had Oya sit back and sigh in his chair before mucking his hand, ceding a healthy pot to Mustafov.
