Bilodeau Holds to Double

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jeremie Bilodeau opted to jam for approximately 15,000 on the flop of 9Q10 before Leonard Maue flicked in a call to put him at risk.

Jeremie Bilodeau: J8All in
Leonard Maue: AQ

Bilodeau was ahead with a flopped straight versus the top pair top kicker of Maue.

The 8 turn offered some chop outs, but the Q river was not one of them as Bilodeau secured the double.

Chen Takes it Down Preflop

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

David Chen opened the action with a raise to 2,600, which led to a call from Daniel Negreanu.

Tobias Schwecht pumped it up with a raise to 9,000 before Chen responded with an all-in. Negreanu folded, and Schwecht took little time before he mucked his cards to give Chen the pot uncontested.

Lichtenberger Shows the Bluff

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

The action was joined with Lirui Zhang and Andrew Lichtenberger facing off in a pot that already had 16,000 in the middle.

The flop Q69 was already face up on the felt, and Zhang was first to act, in the cutoff.

Zhang elected to check, proceeding with a check-call of Lichtenberger's bet of 8,500.

The turn 3 brought the back door flush draw, and when Zhang checked again, Lichtenberger continued with a bet of 18,000. Again, Zhang called.

The dealer added the 10 river card to the board, and Zhang checked for a third time. This time, Lichtenberger assembled a bet of 41,000 and put it into the middle. Lichtenberger had left himself just 900 chips behind.

Zhang went into the tank, taking time to consider before eventually folding AQ face up.

"Wow,” said Lichtenberger, who then showed Zhang the bad news. He flipped over AK, confirming he had bluffed his opponent.

Palma Runs into Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On the very last hand of the previous level, Nicholas Palma raised from the hijack to 2,100, only to be three-bet by Krasimir Yankov on the button to 6,500. The action folded back to Palma, who four-bet to 14,000, and Yankov called.

Palma continued with a bet of 7,000 on the 1074 flop, and again, Yankov called.

The dealer added the 2 turn to the board, and Palma moved all in for 24,600, which Yankov called.

Nicholas Palma: JJ All in
Krasimir Yankov: AA

There was no two-outer for Palma on the river; instead, it was the K, sending Palma to the exit and his stack over to Yankov.
