After a raise in the hijack to 1,200, and a call on the button by Alex Theologis, Dario Sammartino elected to three-bet to 6,000 from the big blind. The original raiser folded, but Theologis called again.
Sammartino continued with a bet of 7,500 on the 4♣7♥3♥ flop, to which Theologis responded by moving all in for roughly 26,000. Sammartino snap-called and the players revealed their cards.
Alex Theologis: A♣5♣
Dario Sammartino: 10♣10♦
The turn 9♣ added a flush draw to Theologis' outs, but the river 7♦ was no help.
With two players seeing a board of 5♦8♦7♥ and 2,500 in the middle, Michael Gathy checked in the small blind and Kuanhan Lee bet 1,200 from the big blind. Gathy called.
The two players checked the 10♦ turn and A♣ river. Lee had fourth pair with 9♠7♠ but Gathy had Q♣7♦ for fourth pair with a better kicker to take the pot.
Level: 6
Blinds: 400/800
Ante: 800
There were approximately 2,000 already in the pot on a board that read Q♦5♣7♦ when Alex Foxen checked from the big blind.
Piero Alioto bet before Foxen check-raised to 6,500. Alioto took a moment before he called.
The 6♣ turn saw a bet of 7,500 from Foxen, which led to a call from Alioto.
Foxen fired for 5,200 on the 4♠ river. Alioto did not take long to call, as they went to a showdown.
Foxen showed A♣Q♥ for top pair, but Alioto held a bigger pair as he revealed K♠K♣.
Nicolas Tytgat kicked the action off with a raise to 1,200 on the button. Pavels Spirins responded from the small blind with a raise to 3,600.
The action folded back to Tytgat, who took stock of his stack before moving all in for 23,500, receiving an immediate call from Spirins.
Nicolas Tytgat: 9♠9♥
Pavels Spirins: A♠K♠
The Q♦2♦5♦ flop was clean for Tytgat, who remained ahead on the 3♣ turn too. However, the 4♠ river improved Spirins to a straight, signalling the end of the road for Tytgat.
Lirui Zhang raised to 1,500 from the cutoff and was called by Blas Torres in the big blind.
Torres checked the flop of 9♥A♥5♠, which led to a bet of 1,500 from Zhang. Torres was not done with the hand and called.
Zhang bet 5,500 on the Q♣ turn after Torres checked it to him. Torres called.
Both players checked the 6♥ river to go to a showdown.
Torres showed A♥4♦, which was good as Zhang mucked his hand to yield the pot.
Action was joined in a three-bet pot with roughly 20,500 in the middle. After a raise from Aleks Dimitrov in the hijack and a call from Conor Bergin on the button, Mitchell Hynam had put in a three-bet from the small blind, which both players called.
Hynam continued with a bet of 5,000 on the 2♥8♥J♠ flop, which saw Dimitrov fold but Bergin call.
When the dealer added the 5♣ turn to the board, Hynam bet once again, this time for 8,500. Again, Bergin called.
Hynam then fired a third and final bullet, putting Bergin all in for his remaining 12,500 on the J♦ river.
Bergin gave it some thought and decided to make the call. Hynam turned over A♥Q♦, for just ace-high, which was unable to beat the 8♠7♠ held by Bergin.
