Morita Shows the Nuts

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Morita bet 1,500 the flop fanned out 6KA. Karmatchkii responded with a raise to 4,200. Morita called to send them to a turn.

The J turn led to a bet of 3,500 from Morita. Karmatchkii chose to play for it all and jammed for approximately 21,000.

"I have the nuts," Morita said as he called to put Karmatchkii at risk.

The turn was a welcome sight for Morita, who spiked the nut straight, but Karmatchkii did have some outs to a full house to stay alive.

Yankov Bests Pointer

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Krasimir Yankov raised from under the gun to 1,200 and was called by Thomas Boivin on the button. John Pointer wanted to play a bigger pot from the big blind and raised it to 7,200. This led to a call from Yankov and a fold from Boivin.

Pointer opted to bet 5,000 on the 669 flop, and Yankov came along with a call to send them to a turn.

The 4 turn did not slow Pointer down, as he bet 12,000 on this street and was once again called by Yankov.

Pointer chose to go all-in and put Yankov at risk when the 5 hit the river. Yankov wasted no time calling for 21,800.

Pointer showed JJ, but Yankov revealed that he pulled the rug from underneath Pointer on the turn when he showed 44 for a full house.
