Nakai Resumes Where He Left Off

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Seeing a limp in early position ahead of him, Glenn Cozen raised to 2,100 on the button. In keeping with his ever-aggressive style, Ryuta Nakai three-bet to 10,000 from the big blind. That got rid of the limper, but Cozen called.

Nakai kept the pace up on the Q23 flop, betting 7,000. Cozen spent a couple of minutes in the tank before choosing to let go of his hand, seeing Nakai scoop another pot.

Oeye is Here to Play

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Ryuta Nakai raised to 1,200 from middle position and was three-bet to 3,500 by Espen Oeye in the hijack. John Johnson called cold in the cutoff and Nakai called as well.

Nakai checked to Oeye, who continued for 4,000 on the Q73 flop. Johnson folded, but Nakai called.

Nakai checked again on the 8 turn and Oeye said, "I have nothing! I check!"

The 2 filled the river and Nakai checked a final time. Oeye bet 6,000 and Nakai didn't take long to look him up.

Oeye turned over Q4 for a pair of queens and Nakai sent his cards into the muck.

Nikzad Sees Roughest River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up on the turn of a pot with 17,000 in the middle, and a board that read 55QA

Small blind Hooman Nikzad checked over to cutoff player Salih Gabrysch, who bet out for 7,000. Nikzad check-raised to 15,000, and Gabrysch made the call.

The river was the A and Nikzad slowed down with a check. Gabrysch then bet out for 21,000, and Nikzad put on quite the pained face. Eventually, he folded, showing the table his full house with QQ had been seriously downgraded. Gabrysch said that he had ace-queen.
