Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

As relayed by the ESPN crew, Jean-Robert Bellande has been eliminated. He was among several players to limp in and Scott Nicol then raised to 3,000. The first limper called before Bellande jammed for around 24,000. Nicol rejammed and isolated successfully.

Jean-Robert Bellande: QxQx All in
Scott Nicol: KxKx

There was no escape for Bellande on the 764102 runout and that spelled the end for him in Level 4.

Campelo Busts to Smith's Boat

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Eric Smith
Eric Smith

With the board reading 3Q510, Eric Smith bet around 25,000 from early position, and Breno Campelo raised to 53,000 on the button. Smith jammed, and Campelo called for his remaining 20,000 or so to put himself at risk.

Breno Campelo: 54 All in
Eric Smith: QQ

Campelo had a pair and a flush draw, although only the flush draw was live as Smith held the nuts with a set of queens.

The 5 on the river improved Campelo to trip fives, but it was no good against Smith's full house, sending Campelo to the rail.

Ailloud Runs Queens into Matues' Rockets

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Adam Matues
Adam Matues

Victoria Ailloud opened to 1,200 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 4,000 by Adam Matues in the big blind. Undeterred, Ailloud four-bet to 10,000 and Matues five-bet to 25,000. Ailloud called.

Ailloud called a 10,000 bet from Matues on the 955 flop and then called all in for approximately 30,000 after Matues shoved on the 10 turn.

Victoria Ailloud: QQAll in
Adam Matues: AA

Ailloud rapped the table after seeing Matues' aces, and the 10 river left her second-best to be eliminated while Matues received a huge boost to his stack.

Lessard Six-Bet Jams into Mitchell

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Pierre-Alexandre Lessard
Pierre-Alexandre Lessard

Pierre-Alexandre Lessard opened from middle position to 1,500 and Brandon Mitchell three-bet to 4,000. Eric Berman flatted from the big blind and action was back on Lessard.

Lessard took a little pause before four-betting to 14,000 and Mitchell made a quick five-bet for 25,000. Berman mucked his hand and Lessard took some time before six-bet jamming, covering Mitchell's remaining 63,500 stack.

Mitchell sat and deliberated his decision before opting to muck his hand. After the hand Mitchell shared with the table he had, "ace-king," before asking Lessard, "same hand?"

Lessard replied, "I don't think so," and continued to suggest that he had, "queens."

Fireworks on the Turn, Winter Smacks the River!

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Alexander Winter
Alexander Winter

William Bevan limped in under the gun, and Alexander Winter raised to 2,500 in middle position. Viclouris Dodds called on the button, and Bevan stuck around too.

The dealer spread a J9Q flop, on which Winter continued for 3,000, and both opponents called.

The K turn brought fireworks.

Bevan led out for 8,000, and Winter called. Dodds then moved all in for 29,200, which Bevan called, before Winter also put his own 21,700 at risk.

Alexander Winter: A10 All in
Viclouris Dodds: A10 All in
William Bevan: Q10

All three players had a straight, but Winter and Dodds were sharing the lead, both having a Broadway straight. Winter was freerolling as well, having a flush draw alongside his straight, which would see him claim the whole pot.

With the players on their feet, the dealer rolled over the 3 river, which did indeed improve Winter to his flush.

Once the pot was apportioned, Winter had a full triple-up, while Dodds claimed a small side pot. Bevan was left with less than ten big blinds.

Sutton Gets Paid After Rivering Quads

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Sean Sutton
Sean Sutton

After Brandon Estrada raised to 1,000 under the gun, Sean Sutton raised to 3,200 in middle position, which Benjamin McKevitt called on the button, and Estrada stuck around as well.

Sutton continued with a bet of 4,400 on a 107Q flop, which McKevitt called before Estrada folded.

There was no slowing down on the A turn, as Sutton barrelled for another 8,500. Undeterred, McKevitt called once again.

Sutton then loaded up a 32,000 bet and put it into the pot on the 10 river. McKevitt wasted little time in calling, only to receive bad news.

"Just quads?" McKevitt said when Sutton flipped over 1010, before he tossed his own cards into the muck pile.

Owen's Cowboys Downed by the Dead Man's Hand

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Bradley Owen
Bradley Owen

Brad Owen raised to 1,000 from early position, with Ahamad Meman calling in the hijack and David Nunez calling on the button.

Owen fired a continuation-bet of 1,500 on the 83Q flop, and only Meman called.

The board-pairing 8 on the turn brought a second barrel from Owen, this time for 4,000. Again, Meman called.

The 10 completed the board, and Owen jammed, covering Meman. Meman quickly called for his stack of 17,400.

Owen tabled KK for an overpair, but it was second best to Meman's A8 for turned trip eights.

Ahern Sends Hanson to the Rail

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Matthew Ahern
Matthew Ahern

In a three-way pot to the AKQ flop with around 7,100 in the middle, Matthew Ahern check-raised to 7,800 against two opponents and Joel Hanson made it 19,000 to go with some 35,000 behind. Ahern then put in another 70,000 on top and Hanson reluctantly called all in.

Joel Hanson: A9 All in
Matthew Ahern: J10

The Q turn and 6 river failed to improve Hanson and he was sent to the rail while Ahern joined the largest stacks in the field in level three.

Matusow on the Wrong End of a Cooler

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Mike Matusow opened from early position before Damien Gayer three-bet to 2,700 from middle position. When the action got back to Matusow, he four-bet to 12,000, only to be met by a five-bet shove for 23,700 from Gayer. Matusow immediately shook his head in disgust as his spidey senses appeared to kick in. Nevertheless, he reluctantly made the call for around a third of his stack.

Damien Gayer: AA All in
Mike Matusow: KK

Matusow's instincts had been right, as he found himself on the wrong end of poker's classic preflop cooler.

The flop came 72A, giving Gayer top set and leaving Matusow virtually drawing dead.

The 37 completed the runout, improving Gayer to an unnecessary full house as he scored the double-up.
