Broadway for Chalkiotis

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

There were over 12,000 in the middle on a flop that read QJ3 when this hand was picked up.

Emmanouil Chalkiotis led out for 3,500 from the small blind. Ignacio Sole called out of the big blind before Paul Prentiss also called from the cutoff.

The 8 turn led to a pair of checks from Chalkiotis and Sole. Prentiss opted to bet 10,000 when it got to him. Chalkiotis gave it some thought before he called, and Sole folded to trim it to a heads-up pot going into the river.

Chalkiotis took the betting lead when he chose to fire 41,000 on the A river. Prentiss took some time to ponder the hand before he made the call.

Chalkiotis showed that he rivered the nuts after he tabled K10 for a straight to take down the sizeable pot during the second to last level on Day 1b.

Maxwell barreled for 3,400 on the 6 turn and Jehu responded with a raise to 14,000.

Maxwell tanked for about a minute before sending his cards into the muck and Jehu collected the pot without showing.

Primus Picks Up a Multi-Way Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Barry Shilmover raised to 1,200 from early position, and Benjamin Primus called in the cutoff. John Andert three-bet to 4,200 from the small blind, and both Shilmover and Primus called.

The dealer fanned the 3A7 flop, and Andert tossed out a bet of 3,000. Shilmover and Primus both called.

All three players checked the 7 turn before the board-pairing A completed the runout. Andert checked, Shilmover bet 12,000, and Primus jammed for around 45,000, prompting two quick folds from his opponents.

Kevin Martin

Picking up the action on a A32 flop, Igor Balaban bet to 1,800 from under the gun, which Kevin Martin called a couple of seats to his left before the player in the big blind check-folded.

The action checked through on the 4 turn, but when Balaban checked for a second time on the Q river, Martin bet 4,500. That won the pot, as Balaban folded.

Cassandra Yong
Cassandra Yong

Cassandra Yong opened to 1,200 from middle position and was called by Kyna England in the big blind.

The flop came QA8 and England checked to Yong, who continued for 1,000. England then check-raised to 2,500 and Yong called.

Both players checked on the 2 turn, but England fired a hefty 7,500 bet into the middle after the 10 completed the board.

Yong went deep into the tank, but eventually stuck in a call. England turned over 86 for a pair of eights and Yong revealed KJ for Broadway.

England let out a disappointed groan and Yong said, "You could have had a flush!" as she collected the pot.

Autran Stares Down Silva

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Players were already three-ways and looking at the 10A2 flop with a pot of 12,500 chip.

Jean-Robert Autran checked from middle position, Mark Watson checked from late position and Eduardo Silva checked from the cutoff to take them to the Q turn.

Both Autran and Watson checked again to Silva who bet out 4,000. Autran made a quick call as did Silva and the players all saw the 6 complete the board.

Action was checked to Silva, and he opted to fire 8,000 into the middle. It looked like a difficult fold for Autran as he stared at Silva for a while and then at the board before giving up his hand. Watson made a relatively quick fold after leaving Silva to scoop the pot.

After the hand Silva showed his strength with QQ for the set, and Autran nodded at the reveal.
