Armin Rezaei
Armin Rezaei

James Pillon raised to 1,100 from the small blind, and Armin Rezaei called from the big blind.

Both players checked the 5K10 flop before the J landed on the turn. Pillon bet 2,000, and Rezaei called.

The 7 completed the board, and Pillon fired 3,000. Rezaei responded with a raise to 15,000. Pillon thought it over before eventually slamming in the call.

Rezaei tabled 98 for a rivered straight, and Pillon was forced to muck.

Gangan Puts a Brutal Cooler on Naim

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Rahul Gangan
Rahul Gangan

Three-ways to the turn with the board reading 1077J and around 6,000 in the middle, Gal Naim led for 1,900 from the small blind. Then, Rahul Gangan announced, "Raise-y daisy," as he tossed a 5,000 chip into the middle from under the gun, and Mohamed El Rais cold-called the 5,000 in middle position.

With the action back on Naim, he three-bet to 12,000. Gangan then moved all-in for 37,400, El Rais quickly got out of the way, and Naim snapped it off as the covering stack.

Rahul Gangan: JJ All in
Gal Naim: 1010

It was a cooler scenario with Gangan the beneficiary as he held the higher full house. He avoided the one-outer on the 3 river, and he secured the full double as Naim could do nothing but shake his head at the unfortunate setup.

Bluff, Bluff, Get There; Bilzerian Hits the Nuts

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Dan Bilzerian
Dan Bilzerian

Shane Thorne raised to 800 under the gun, which Dan Bilzerian called two seats to his left before the big blind came along as well.

When the action checked to Bilzerian on a 845 flop, he bet 1,300. The big blind folded, but Thorne called.

It was the same pattern on the 10 turn: Thorne checked, Bilzerian bet 5,000, and Thorne called.

When the 9 river completed the board, and after Thorne had checked for a third time, Bilzerian fired a final bet of 12,000. Thorne threw in the chips to call, and tabled 109. His running two-pair was no good, though, as Bilzerian tabled the nuts with QJ.

After three checks, Dayan fired 2,400 on the 28Q flop. Boob and Chocheles were the only callers.

Chocheles opted to lead out when the 6 dropped on the turn, which got Dayan to fold, while Boob continued with a call.

Velozo check-called a second barrel of 3,500 from Benyamine on the 3 turn.

The K completed the board, and Velozo elected to lead out for 6,000. Benyamine, who had about 10,000 left in his stack, jammed and was quickly called.

Benyamine tabled 66 for a flopped set, but had been rivered by Velozo's 85 for a flush. Velozo climbed back towards the starting stack, while Benyamine's Main Event came to an early end.

Bilzerian Wastes No Time

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Dan Bilzerian
Dan Bilzerian

Dan Bilzerian has arrived on Day 1c, and he did not sit around and wait as he played the first three hands after he took his place in the main event.

He announced his presence with an open to 700 from the hijack. Donald Proctor called from the cutoff and Brunno Neves joined from the small blind.

It was checked to Bilzerian on the 579 flop before he continued for 1,200. Proctor called, but Neves folded.

The 4 turn did not slow Bilzerian down as he fired 3,000. Proctor obliged with a call.

Bilzerian emptied the clip on the 9 river to the tune of 7,500. Proctor made the call.

Bilzerian showed K6 for a wiffed straight draw. Proctor tabled QQ to claim the pot.

The second hand was a raised pot preflop that went three-handed to a flop of 5910. Bilzerian fired 1,000 and was called by Neves on the button and Scott Reginatto in the big blind.

All three players knuckled the 9 turn to bring the 2 river. Reginatto checked it over to Bilzerian, who opted to bet 1,400 in response. Reginatto folded.

Bilzerian was at it again when he opened to 700 from early position and was called by Reginatto in the small blind and Fabrizio Rosa in the big blind.

It was checked to Bilzerian on the flop of AQQ before he wagered 1,300. Reginatto called, while Rosa folded.

The 9 turn saw no action as both players checked to bring the J river. Reginatto flicked out a bet of 1,200. Bilzerian called and sent them to a showdown.

Reginatto showed KQ for trip queens as Bilzerian mucked his hand.

Christian Roberts
Christian Roberts

Three-ways to the turn with the board reading KJ8Q, Christian Roberts checked from the small blind to Steven Kyler who bet 4,000 from under the gun. Kevin MacPhee called on the button before Roberts check-raised to 14,000. Kyler called before MacPhee quickly got out of the way.

The river brought the 4 as Roberts placed a stack of green T-25,000 and red T-5,000 chips into the middle, covering the stack of Kyler who had about 55,000 behind. After a minute's tank, Kyler opted to let it go, and Roberts dragged the pot without showdown as his stack grows over two times starting.

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Josh Arieh
Josh Arieh

After an early-position limp, Josh Arieh raised to 1,100 from the next seat. Anthony Apicella three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind, and only Arieh called to see a flop.

The dealer spread the 223 flop, and Apicella continued for 2,000. Arieh elected to call.

The Q arrived on the turn, and Apicella fired again, this time for 3,500. Once more, Arieh called.

The 4 completed the runout, and Apicella slowed down with a check. Arieh gathered together a bet of 13,000, which was enough to force a fold from Apicella.
