Leves Eliminated by Ramos

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

A shorter-stacked Agustin Leves was all-in before the flop with AK and up against Dennys Ramos and his dinosaur card protector, who revealed the 66.

The board ran out Q76K7 and Leves had to leave after being drawing dead on the turn.

Sobral Sends Madrid into the Blender

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Caio Sobral raised to 900 from early position, and only Santiago Madrid called from middle position.

The two players checked the AKK flop before the 9 arrived on the turn. Sobral led out for 3,500, and Madrid called.

The A completed the board, and Sobral fired 10,000. Madrid went deep into the tank, thinking for more than two minutes before eventually folding, surrendering the pot to Sobral.

Valerio Fires Into Nomula

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Jeevan Nomula raised to 800 in early position. Jose Valerio was in the cutoff and three-bet to 2,900. Nomula called to the 105K flop, where Valerio continued for 1,900.

After Nomula had check-called, Valerio sized up significantly on the 6 turn, piling 6,500 into the pot. Nomula deemed it too much, and he check-folded to give up on the pot.

De Souza Shoves on Bakovic

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

David Ballestero opened to 800 in early position before Alen Bakovic min-clicked it to 1,200 from middle position. Lucas Salles Arouck De Souza flatted in the cutoff, and Ballestero came along.

On the 653 flop, it checked to Bakovic who continued for 1,300 before De Souza raised to 4,500. Ballestero got out of the way but Bakovic ended up putting in the call.

The turn brought the J as Bakovic checked again to De Souza who bet 8,500, and Bakovic called once more.

Bakovic checked a final time on the 9 river and De Souza took some time before he announced all-in for his remaining 25,500. The covering stack of Bakovic opted to fold after some deliberation, and De Souza collected the pot without showdown, albeit over six minutes after the hand was dealt.

Skarparis Doubles Through Bechtel

Action was picked up as Georgios Skarparis who was on th button was all in for 36,500 against James Bechtel who was in the big blind.

The board ran out J6628, and Skarparis doubled.

Yin Piles on the Pressure

Joining the action on a 10Q8 flop, with 8,800 already in the pot. Yuzhou Yin bet 2,200 from the small blind, and Philipp Hasenburger called on the button.

Yin continued for 8,800 on the 6 turn, which Hasenburger again called.

The 2 completed the board, and Yin applied maximum pressure, betting 75,000. The bet represented more than Hasenburger had in his stack, and, as such, he would need to risk his tournament life to call.

After taking some time to consider, Hasenburger folded, and Yin flashed the A before mucking both cards together face down.

Makino Pounces on Turn

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Fumiyoshi Makino opened to 800 from early position. Matthew Kramer called from middle position before John Brown joined with a call from the hijack. Carlos Pou defended his big blind as a crowd took a flop together.

The 982 flop led to no bidding as everyone checked.

It checked to Brown on the K turn, who bet 1,400. Pou made the call, but Makino was interested in more as he chose to check-raise to 6,200.

Makino's check-raise cleared everyone else out as he took down the pot on the turn.

Celaya Stays Alive

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Raul Celaya was all in preflop for his last 3,000, with Caio Sobral and Jun Obara competing for the side pot.

On the 5K3 flop, Sobral checked from under the gun, and Obara bet 2,500 from the next seat. Sobral folded, Obara claimed the side pot, and the remaining cards were tabled with Celaya at risk.

Celaya paired his king on the flop and managed to dodge a four on both the J turn and Q river, earning himself a triple-up to stay alive in the Main Event.

Lie Leaves Main Event Early

As retold by Renan Revinthis, Aylar Lie had opened under the gun, and he called next to act. Lie then checked the A4Q flop over to Revinthis, who bet. Lie called, and she check-called Revinthis next bet on the A turn as well.

The 4 river prompted Lie to lead out for a pot-sized bet of roughly 10,500. Revinthis moved all in over the top, and Lie called off her remaining 38,000.

Revinthis revealed quads with 44. Lie had rivered a full house with AK, but it was no good as she departed the Main Event shortly after entering.
