Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Brian Jumper opened to 800 from under the gun and Jorge Guzman Florez three-bet to 1,200 from the hijack. Diogo De Souza Gonçalves called from the cutoff and Jumper topped up to take the players three-ways to the flop.

The 3J3 was fanned and Jumper checked. Florez tanked before moving out 2,500. Both players called behind and the A fell on the turn.

Jumper make a quick check, Florez took a long time to check behind. Gonçalves took some time to push out 5,700 and Jumper mucked. Florez tanked before raising to 15,000 and Gonçalves tank-called.

A 9 river saw both players snap checked to showdown. Florez showed JQ for two pair. Gonçalves eventually took the pot after tabling his Q10 having the turned flush, from a hand that lasted over five minutes.

Martin Goes to Broadway

Andrew Martin raised to 1,000 under the gun. Hong Sun called in early position, enticing Samara Hancock to three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind. Martin and Sun both called, and the JJ10 flop was fanned.

Hancock continued for 3,000, seeing Martin call and Sun fold. The A turn and 7 river then checked to showdown. Hancock showed QQ, but was bested by the KQ of Martin, who had turned a straight to win the pot.

Simon Wilson raised to 900 from middle position, and Nathaniel Shoshan defended his big blind.

Shoshan check-called a continuation-bet of 900 from Wilson on the Q8J flop.

Both players checked the K turn to see the 2 complete the board. Shoshan led out for 2,800, and Wilson returned his cards to the dealer.

Wasnock Knocked Down by Shinohara

Karapet Galstyan limped from the hijack before Haruhiko Shinohara made it 2,000 on the button. Naoto Takeya made it 4,000 from the small blind, and John Wasnock called out of the big blind.

Galstyan opted to fold before Shinohara ripped it for 51,700. His countryman, Takeya, folded, but Wasnock did not, as he called to put Shinohara at risk.

Shinohara was well ahead of Wasnock as they went to a runout.

The board did not bring any drama as it spread out A10756 to award Shinohara the double up and drop Wasnock back down to below a starting stack.

Relax a Little, You've Earned It

The action was picked up on a 310A flop, with 5,100 in the pot.

Marko Doljevic checked in the big blind, and Alain Benabou bet 2,000 from early position. Charles Mitchell called in the cutoff, and Doljevic check-called too.

All three players checked on the 10 turn, and the J completed the board.

When checked to again, Benabou fired 15,000 into the pot. Mitchell called, but Doljevic folded. Benabou rolled over his rivered full house with JJ, and Mitchell mucked his cards.

Immediately after scooping in the pot, Benabou hailed for a massage, treating himself to a bit of relaxation.

"I Don't Think I'm Good Here"

There were roughly 17,000 chips in pot on 54J.

Mason Vieth who was in middle position bet 5,000, and Katrina Gouge who was on the button made the call.

Vieth did not slow down on the 5 turn, and he fired out another bet of 7,000, which Gouge called. Vieth bet again when the 7 was dealt on the river for 10,300, then Gouge announced "I don't think I'm good here" and called.

Vieth tabled the winner with KK.

Both players checked the 5K10 flop before the J landed on the turn. Pillon bet 2,000, and Rezaei called.

The 7 completed the board, and Pillon fired 3,000. Rezaei responded with a raise to 15,000. Pillon thought it over before eventually slamming in the call.

Rezaei tabled 98 for a rivered straight, and Pillon was forced to muck.

St Jacques Puts Goodkin Into Tank

Ian Matakis opened to 900 under the gun. Eli St Jacques called in the hijack, and David Goodkin and Jun Li followed suit in the cutoff and on the button, respectively.

Matakis checked to St Jacques on the 294 flop. He bet 2,400, which only Goodkin called. Goodkin went on to snap-call St Jacques' bet of 5,000 on the 6 turn, but had more trouble when his opponent triple-barreled for 10,000 on the 5 river.

After several minutes in the tank, Goodking forfeited the hand by mucking his cards.
