Mizrachi Pays to See Passanante's Boat

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Robert Mizrachi
Robert Mizrachi

Robert Mizrachi raised to 1,600 from the cutoff, and Jared Passanante defended from the big blind.

Passanante check-called a continuation-bet of 1,500 from Mizrachi on the K410 flop before both players checked the 7 turn.

When the K paired the board, Passanante checked for a third time, and Mizrachi bet 4,000. Passanante looked back at his cards before coming with a check-raise to 22,500.

Mizrachi gave it some thought before flicking in a chip to call. Passanante tabled K4 for a full house to win the pot and leave Mizrachi short.

"Stop Being a B**ch, Shut Up!"

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Andreas Staschewski
Andreas Staschewski

With a completed board of JK259 and about 35,000 in the pot, Andreas Staschewski moved all in from the small blind, putting Andreas Boyadjian to the test in the big blind for his remaining stack of roughly 30,000.

Boyadjian went deep into the tank, visibly distressed by the decision for his tournament life. Throughout the tank, he repeatedly tried to engage Staschewski in conversation, but the Austrian remained stoic.

"Oh my god, what do I do here, f**k," Boyadjian said.

After a while, Boyadjian asked the dealer if he could expose his cards and whether they would be dead if he did. The dealer confirmed his hand would remain live, and Boyadjian turned over A3, revealing he was considering making a hero call with nothing more than ace-high.

Staschewski then asked the dealer to call the floor, but the dealer's voice wasn't loud enough to carry from the corner of the Horseshoe. So, Staschewski took a deep breath before bellowing several times, "Floor, 487!"

The floor staff eventually arrived and explained that Boyadjian's hand remained live, with any issue regarding his conduct to be dealt with after the hand was complete.

Another player at the table called the clock, and as the countdown ticked away, Boyadjian stacked his chips, kissed them, and then slammed them across the betting line.

Boyadjian's read had been correct that Staschewski was bluffing. Unfortunately for him, Staschewski's bluff with A10 was still the better ace-high, sending Boyadjian to the rail.

"You're so f**king bad," Boyadjian said as he gathered his belongings.

Staschewski then complained to the floor staff that Boyadjian had touched him while trying to influence his decision, arguing that it should not be allowed.

"I didn't touch you, stop being a b**ch, shut up," Boyadjian replied as he walked away.

Liebert Stacking the Chips

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Kathy Liebert began the action with an open to 2,000 from early position. Jermain Gerlin called from the cutoff. Thiago Amador and David Nickel called from the small and big blind, respectively, to create a four-handed pot.

The A48 flop resulted in a pair of checks from the blinds before Liebert continued for 5,000. Amador called, while the other two players folded to trim the pot down to heads-up.

Amador checked the Q turn, but Liebert was not in a checking mood, as she wagered 10,000. Amador hung in there with a call.

It was checked to Liebert on the Q river before she put out a bet of 15,000. Amador decided on a fold as Liebert took the pot without a showdown.

Isomura Fires Twice

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Following a raise to 1,800 in the hijack by Kevin Schulz, Shuhei Isomura three-bet to 5,800 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Schulz, who called.

Schulz checked it over to Isomura on a K33 flop, who bet 2,500, and Schulz called.

When Schulz checked again on the 3 turn, Isomura barreled for 9,000, which was enough to remove Schulz from the hand.

Aljanedi Takes the Lead and Takes the Pot from Jose

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Gonzalo Jose made it 2,600 to play from under the gun and found calls from Jose Fernandez in middle position, Sameer Aljanedi on the button and Bryan Buonocore in the small blind.

The flop came 8K6 and it was checked to Aljanedi, who bet out for 7,000. Jose called and the other players folded.

On the 10 turn Jose checked it over to Aljanedi once more who fired a second bullet of 12,000. Jose made the call.

The river brought the A and Jose knuckled the table for a third time. Aljanedi checked Jose's stack and moved all in and he had Jose covered. Jose thought for a while and mucked his hand for the pot to be sent to Aljanedi with no need for a show down.

The action checked on the 8 turn, then Bowling led for 3,000 on the 9 river, and both Patur and Oz made the fold but Mariani made the call.

Goncalves tapped the felt as he turned over QQ, and Lees showed him AQ for top pair to win the pot.

Aces for Krahn

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Goonjan Mall opened to 1,600 from middle position before Kilo Krahn opted to re-raise to 4,000 from the small blind. Jason Chow four-bet to 12,000 from big blind. Mall folded before Krahn put in a five-bet to 35,000. Chow gave it some consideration before he made the call.

The K3J flop led to all-in from Krahn for 47,500. Chow asked for a count before he gave it considerable thought. He eventually decided on a call to put Krahn at risk.

Kilo Krahn: AAAll in
Jason Chow: AK

Krahn was well ahead with two cards to go.

The 10 turn gave some opportunities for a chop before the 5 river dispelled that notion as Krahn secured the double up with his aces.
