Banducci Wielding the Big Stack

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

William Linden opened to 11,000 on the button before Michael Banducci three-bet to 40,000 from the small blind, and Linden called.

On the KK4 flop, Banducci led for 36,000 and Linden called.

Banducci barreled again for 105,000 on the 7 turn, with Linden sticking around again.

On the 5 river, Banducci emptied the clip, quickly jamming as the covering stack for about 320,000. Faced with a decision for his tournament life, Linden went deep into the tank for a couple minutes before ultimately deciding to let it go, as Banducci embraces the role of table bully.

Updated Counts in the Cluster

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Matthew Holland raised to 13,000 and Blake Whittington three-bet to 42,000 in the next seat. Without much hesitation, Holland reraised to more than 300,000 and Whittington stared his opponent down before reluctantly folding.

One table over, there were 35,000 in the middle to the 7325 turn when Danny Chang bet 16,000. Duane Blanchard raised to 50,000 only for Chang to make it 141,000 to go in order to force out Blanchard.

Brian Kraft in the hijack moved all in for 40,000 and he was called by Rene-Charles Angelil who raised from middle position.

Brian Kraft: KQ All in
Rene-Charles Angelil: A7

After a flop of J92, Kraft improved to top pair on the K turn. However, the 10 river completed Angelil’s flush, sending Kraft to the rail.

“It’s the first all-in I’ve won the whole tournament. Or at least it feels like it,” Angelil joked after the hand.

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Hossein Ensan

John Campbell bet 25,000 from under the gun on the 48J5 turn. Mark Lacoste flicked in a minimum raise to 50,000 on the button, and Campbell responded by moving all in for about 125,000. Lacoste snap-called.

John Campbell: KK All in
Mark Lacoste: 76

Lacoste had turned a straight to leave Campbell's cowboys drawing dead, and the inconsequential 9 river elongated Lacoste's straight to solidify the knockout.

Over at another table, 2019 Main Event Champion Hossein Ensan had eliminated no fewer than three players in the span of minutes, seeing his stack grow to over 250 big blinds.

Nasty Run Out Sends Hao Packing

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Dongze Hao in middle position, who open-jammed all in for 74,000 and was looked up by Tasuku Maruo in the cutoff. The rest of the table folded quicker than cheetahs on caffeine.

Dongze Hao: Q10 All in
Tasuku Maruo: 1010

It was all looking hunky dory for Hao when the dealer peeled off the flop of 82Q to send him into the lead. But then when the 10 made an appearance on the turn it all changed and Maruo stormed back into the lead. No queen came to save Hao on the K river and he was sent to the rail.

Five Bets in Five Minutes

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

Dimitrios Kilintaris opened to 11,000 from early position and action slowly folded around to David Cabrera Polop, who called on the button. Jack Salter three-bet to 56,000 from the big blind and Kilintaris went into the tank.

The clock was called as the action had stalled for a while on Kilintaris, and he was given 30 seconds to act before he opted to four-bet to 84,000. Polop snap-mucked, and Salter took some time before five-betting to 147,000, leaving just 26,000 not in the pot. Salter took a little while to think and the floor was called again, but the clock wasn't put on Kilintaris yet given the, "big decision," even though the pre-flop action had already taken five minutes.

He opted to flat, and the pair saw the 6109 board. Salter checked, Kilintaris moved all in to cover Salter's last few big blinds and Salter snap-called.

Jack Salter: KKAll in
Dimitrios Kilintaris: AQ

Salter was looking to hold with his kings, and the 2 turn and 4 river went his way and he locked up the double.

Axel Bayout
Axel Bayout

Raymond Fillipone jammed for around 56,000 from middle position, and Axel Bayout made the call from the next seat for roughly a fifth of his stack. The rest of the table got out of the way, and the cards were tabled with Fillipone at risk.

Raymond Fillipone: A9 All in
Axel Bayout: JJ

Fillipone needed some help from the dealer, and he got it as the 4A6 flop paired his ace to vault him into the lead.

Bayout couldn't find a jack on the 54 runout, and the pot was pushed in Fillipone's direction.
