Le Chips Up Through Jacewiczokelly

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On the QJ9K turn, Scott Jacewiczokelly made it 30,000 to go and he was called by Allan Le in the next seat. The 9 on the river paired the board and both eventually checked.

Jacewiczokelly shook his head and exposed the A2 for the missed flush draw, while Le claimed the pot with J10 for the king-high straight.

Chao Wu raised to 10,000 under the gun, which Emmett King called a couple of seats to his left before Kevin Killeen came along in the big blind.

The action checked to King on a 427 flop, who bet 20,000. Killeen responded with a check-raise, moving all in for around 60,000. Wu folded, but King called.

Emmett King: JJ

The K turn and 8 river offered no relief for Killeen, who was the latest casualty of the Main Event.

Li Takes a Stroll on Broadway

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Damilola Akinnusi opened to 13,000 from early position and was called by Yi Li on the button.

The flop came 107J before Akinnusi continued for 15,000. Li made the call.

Akinnusi slowed down with a check on the K turn before Li bet 37,000. Akinnusi sprang out with a check-raise all-in. Li called to put himself at risk for 89,000 with one card to go.

Yi Li: AQAll in
Damilola Akinnusi: AK

Akinnusi had turned a pair of kings, but that proved to do more harm than good, as Li turned a Broadway using the king to improve to the best hand.

Akinnusi was drawing to a chop, but the J river was not a queen as Li secured the double-up.

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Jeff Fenster

Arin Youssefian bet 12,000 on the 452 flop from middle position. Congya Zhang then raised to 27,000, and Youssefian called after much debate.

Zhang tossed in another 35,000 on the 5 turn. This time, Youseffian check-folded to concede the pot.

Over at another table, Jeff Fenster's seat was left empty. The other players at the table informed PokerNews he had not been present for a while, and it seems unlikely he will make the money with just six big blinds to his name.

Chaves Takes from Mulders

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was picked up at the end of the flop betting stage, with both small blind Daan Mulders and early position player Fabio Chaves committing chips into the pot, bringing in the turn to leave a 39K10 board.

Here, with around 120,000 in the middle, Mulders bet out for 80,000, and Chaves went into a deep tank. After a good few minutes, he called, and action swiftly went check-check on the 5 river.

Mulders had second pair with J10 but it was no good against the AK of Chaves for top-top.
