Bezhanian Five-Bet Jams, Boyd Tank-Calls

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Arman Bezhanian
Arman Bezhanian

Dutch Boyd raised to 50,000 on the button and faced a three-bet to 175,000 from Arman Bezhanian in the big blind. Boyd responded with a four-bet to 375,000, but was then put in the blender by Bezhanian, who five-bet jammed, having Boyd's 1,285,000 stack covered.

After several minutes passed, Boyd called, and the cards were tabled.

Dutch Boyd: AK All in
Arman Bezhanian: AJ

Both players stood up from their seats to watch the runout, with the eventual 1062A2 board keeping the standings as they were preflop, seeing Bezhanian slide a tower of chips across the table to Boyd.

"If You Can't Speak English, Don't Speak"

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jose Fernando Garcia Gutierrez
Jose Fernando Garcia Gutierrez

Xoan Mourino made it 50,000 from under the gun and Jose Fernando Garcia Gutierrez called from middle position. Agustin Coelli then squeezed all in for 375,000 from the cutoff, and Mourino moved all in over the top for around 615,000. Garcia Gutierrez, who had both players covered, went into the tank.

As he mulled it over, Garcia Gutierrez began talking in his native language and was quickly reminded by the dealer that only English could be spoken during the hand. Moments later, he continued speaking in another language, prompting the floor to be called over.

Garcia Gutierrez indicated that he couldn't speak English, to which the floor responded, "If you can't speak English, don't speak."

The ruling was understood. Garcia Gutierrez fell silent for a few moments before eventually turning over JxJx and folding.

Agustin Coelli: AA All in
Xoan Mourino: KK All in

Garcia Gutierrez's disciplined fold proved to be the right one, with both opponents tabling higher pairs. Coelli's aces held on the 65433 runout to earn the double through Mourino.

Hamlet Runs Into Petkov's Quads

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Lachezar Petkov
Lachezar Petkov

Brandon Hamlet raised to 50,000 from early position to see both Lachezar Petkov on the button and Keanon Simon in the big blind call.

The flop rolled out 873 and action checked around to Petkov who bet 60,000. Simon folded and Hamlet raised to 180,000 to see Petkov call.

On the turn 4, Hamlet bet 220,000 to see Petkov call again.

Hamlet bet 300,000 on the 7 river, prompting Petkov to raise all in for 1,200,000 effective and Hamlet called.

Brandon Hamlet: 33 All in
Lachezar Petkov: 77

Both players had flopped a set, and the river had brought Hamlet threes full of sevens. It was no good against Petkov's four sevens and the over three million chip pot was sent in Petkov's direction.

Chidwick Can't Fade Liu

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Zhao Liu raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and Stephen Chidwick moved all in from the button for 220,000. Action folded back around to Liu who thought for a bit before deciding to call with the covering stack.

Stephen Chidwick: A4 All in
Zhao Liu: 107

The board ran out QQ3106 and the queens and tens were good for Liu to take down the pot and eliminate the WSOP bracelet winner from the tournament.

Sacrispeyre Catches Levi Making a Move

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 853, Shahar Levi bet 85,000 from the hijack and Edouard Sacrispeyre called in the big blind.

The turn was the Q and Levi bet another 165,000. Sacrispeyre again called, and the J fell on the river.

Levi then moved all in, and Sacrispeyre snap-called for 490,000. Levi showed AK for just ace-high, while Sacrispeyre had rivered two pair with J8 to win the pot and double up.

Porbandarwala Not Afraid to Jam Light

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Soheb Porbandarwala
Soheb Porbandarwala

The action was joined as Soheb Porbandarwala three-bet to 150,000 from the hijack, over the raise of Peng Shan one seat to his right. When the action returned to Shan, he four-bet to 425,000, but met the ultimate resistance, as Porbandarwala five-bet jammed.

Shan took some time to think about it, given that he would be the player at risk if he were to put his 1,435,000 into the pot. After a minute or two passed, he called.

Peng Shan: AK All in
Soheb Porbandarwala: A7

Porbandarwala did pair his seven on the 8487J runout, but it was to no avail, as Shan had made the nut flush at the same time.

Mason Vieth
Mason Vieth

Small blind Mason Vieth and Jeff Weiss in early position were heads up on a KQK24 river. Vieth checked to Weiss, who fired 350,000 into a pot of 400,000.

"Nice hand," Vieth stated as he tossed in a single calling chip. Weiss showed 44 for a rivered full house, and Vieth spent some time before adding his cards to the muck.

Boll Bows Out to Aces

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Nicholas Boll
Nicholas Boll

The action was caught as Nicholas Boll had manoeuvred his stack of 390,000 into the middle preflop, and was at risk versus Matthew Lapossie.

Nicholas Boll: QQ All in
Matthew Lapossie: AA

The 7Q7 flop flipped the script, as Boll flopped a full house. His joy was short-lived, however, as the A turn gave Lapossie a better full.

It wasn't to be for Boll; left with just one out to survive, he couldn't find it on the 9 river, sending him to the rail.

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi raised to 40,000 under the gun. Bradley Oubre called in the hijack before Voor three-bet to 140,000 in the small blind. Mizrachi moved all in for 485,000, quickly getting rid of Oubre's A10.

Voor spent some time in the tank, then called with the covering stack.

Michael Mizrachi: QQ All in
Andrew Voor: K10

Mizrachi just needed to fade a king to double up, and he successfully did so when the 58362 board presented no danger to his queens.

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Karanvir Singh raised to 40,000 in early position and Xingyu Liu three-bet to 120,000 in middle position. Vy Nguyen then four-bet to 250,000 in the cutoff, and both Singh and Liu called.

Liu bet 160,000 on the 268 flop, and Nguyen and Singh called. All three players then checked the Q turn.

The river was the 3 and Singh led out for 225,000. Liu quickly folded, while Nguyen tanked for several minutes before emerging with a raise to 650,000.

"Ah man, so tilting," Singh said as he tossed his cards away, and Nguyen took down the big pot without a showdown.
