Ensan Starting to Dwindle

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Hossein Ensan opened to 2,000,000 from under the gun and Lauri Saaskilahti in the big blind three-bet to 7,000,000, forcing out Ensan after some consideration.

Michael Gagliano raised to 2,200,000 first to act and Ensan was the only caller from his big blind. They headed to the Q99 flop on which both players checked. The A turn brought a second flush draw and Ensan checked once more. This prompted a bet of 2,500,000 by Gagliano and Ensan folded.

The Quick Hands Continue on the Main Table

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Lauri Saaskilahti opened to 2,000,000 and Michael Gagliano called in the big blind. On a flop of J74, Gagliano check-called for 1,500,000 and they checked the 6 turn. Gagliano then led the 5 river for 2,300,000 and Saaskilahti folded.

Greg Mueller then min-raised from the hijack and Gagliano three-bet to 7,500,000 in the small blind, winning the pot after Mueller sent his cards into the muck.

Saaskilahti kicked off the next hand with a raise to 2,000,000 and Rami Hammoud defended his big blind. The AQJ flop was checked by Hammoud and Saaskilahti had barely bet when the cards of his opponent already went into the muck.

Galiana Loses to Gagliano and Hammoud

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Michael Gagliano raised to 2,000,000 from the cutoff and Antonio Galiana called from the button before they headed to the 1065 flop. Gagliano check-called and did so again on the 7 turn for 4,400,000. The river was the 4 and both players checked, Gagliano won the pot with the 98 for the ten-high straight. Galiana mucked KQ.

One hand later, Galiana raised to 2,000,000 and called a three-bet to 6,000,000 by Rami Hammoud from the cutoff. They checked the 1096 flop to the 4 turn on which Galiana check-called for 5,000,000. This brought them to the 2 river on which Galiana checked once more. Hammoud fired another bet of 10,000 and his opponent from Spain used two time bank extensions.

Galiana called with AQ and was shown the K10 for the second nut flush by Hammoud, further damaging his stack.

Shaun Deeb raised it up to 1,600,000 in the cutoff and Michael Gagliano three-bet jammed for 13,800,000 in the small blind. The action folded back to Deeb and he called for essentially half of his stack.

Michael Gagliano: 1010 All in
Shaun Deeb: AJ

The rail was silently awaiting the board and even "Crazy Mike" didn't say a single word. It stayed silent throughout the Q969K board, after which only one spectator celebrated: Daniel Strelitz.

"Thank you Danny," Gagliano said as he turned around briefly before stacking up the chips.

Daniel Savas then made it 1,200,000 to go and Hammoud in the big blind called, leading to the AA9 flop that was checked to the 5 turn. Hammoud bet and Savas folded.

The next player to raise was Brock Wilson for 1,200,000 and Greg Mueller in the big blind called. The 653 flop brought a bet of 1,300,000 by Mueller and Wilson gave it a lot of thought before he folded.

Michael Gagliano 88 in the cutoff raised to 1,200,000 and Rami Hammoud 98 in the small blind three-bet jammed for an effective 17,600,000 as that's what Gagliano had at his disposal to start the hand. Gagliano carefully counted his stack before he sent the cards into the muck.
