Zhao Liu then raised to 825,000 in the hijack and Gagliano three-bet again, making it 2,400,000 on the button. Liu called.

Gagliano then bet 1,300,000 on the AKQ flop, and Liu called. Both players checked down the A turn and 10 river, and Gagliano showed K10 for two pair to win the pot.

Evagoras Evagorou raised to 300,000 from under the gun and Tyler Gaston called, while all other players, including the table short stack Congya Zhang in the big blind, folded.

On the K92 flop, Evagorou bet 500,000 and Gaston called before they checked the 6 turn and Q river. Evagorou tabled his A5 for a bluff and then shook his head when Gaston revealed his 33 for a mighty pair of treys.

In the next hand, newly arrived Michael Gagliano raised to 350,000 on the button. Zhang jammed in the small blind for 875,000 and Gagliano called.

Gagliano Puts Chaudey Into the Blender

At one of the feature tables, Malcolm Trayner raised to 240,000 from under the gun with A10 and was called by Jeff Weiss to his left with AK, Michael Gagliano in middle position with 77, and Christopher Chaudey who defended from the small blind with JJ.

After three checks, Gagliano bet 300,000 with a set on the 724 flop. Chaudey check-raised to 800,000 to make Trayner and Weiss fold, but Gagliano made the call.

Chaudey continued for 850,000 on the Q turn but Gagliano went into the tank and raised to 2,500,000.

Facing the raise, Chaudey talked to himself in both French and English for around five minutes. “You have to have a set. I don’t see this guy bluffing,” he thought.

In the end, he trusted his read and folded.
