David Rees opened to 500,000 from the button and Harlan Karnofsky called from the big blind. On the 9♣4♠2♣ flop, Karnofsky check-raised to 900,000 over a bet of 400,000. Rees called. On the 6♥ turn, Karnofsky sized up to 1,500,000 on the 6♥ turn, which quickly folded out Rees.
On the next deal, Honghao Zhang raised to 480,000 from the button. Rees defended his big blind, but check-folded to a bet of 300,000 on the Q♠10♥4♦ flop.
Karnofsky then made it 500,000 from the button, but folded when Zhang jammed from the big blind.
In a limped pot between the blinds, Zhang bet 240,000 on the A♠10♣8♥ flop, folding out Rees.
The very next hand, Karnofsky raised to 500,000 from the button and Zhang called from the big blind. The K♠K♣Q♣ flop checked through to the 8♠ turn, where Zhang check-called for 800,000. The 3♥ river checked through to showdown, where Zhang's J♠5♠ was good for the pot. Karnofsky said he had a smaller flush draw,
Zhang drew closer to the bigger stacks after raising to 480,000 from the button and getting called by Rees from the big blind. On the A♦A♣J♣ flop, Rees check-raised to 600,000 over a bet of 240,000. Zhang called. The 8♠ turn checked through to the 9♠ river, where Zhang's bet of 1,000,000 folded out Rees.
