In a limped pot, Karnofsky check-called for 500,000 on the 965 flop before the 4 turn and 2 river checked through to showdown where Karnofsky's 75 was best.

On the next deal, Karnofsky raised to 850,000 from the button and was called. However, he conceded the pot after Zhang led out for 700,000 on the 643 flop.

Zhang Edges Ahead

Harlan Karnofsky limped the small blind and Honghao Zhang raised to 900,000 from the big blind, and Karnofsky quickly folded.

In the next hand Zhang raised to 800,000 and Karnofsky called. The 7Q8 flop was checked all the way to showdown with both players flipping over ace-seven offsuit.

Zhang stole Karnofsky's big blind again after raising the small blind before the pair got into a bigger pot.

Karnofsky raised to 600,000 and Zhang called. The pair saw a 5K6 board fall and both checked to see a 4 turn. Zhang bet 700,000 and Karnofsky called, taking them to the 2 river. Zhang checked, but Karnofsky asked for 1,7000,000. Zhang stared at he board before folding his hand.

A few hands later after passing a number of blinds, Hunag raised to 800,000 and Karnofsky called. The pair saw a 10AK flop. Karnofsky check-folded after Zhang bet 500,000.

Rees check-called for 1,600,000 on the A turn, to leave with a little under 6,000,000 heading to the 5 river. Rees checked, and snap-called for his tournament life after Zhang jammed as the big stack.

Zhang tabled Q3 for a flush, and Rees was sickened as he turned over a no good two pair with his A10.

Zhang Pays Off Karnofsky

Harlan Karnofsky opened on the button and Honghao Zhang defended the big blind. The 688 flop was checked by Zhang and Karnofsky bet 600,000. Zhang raised to 1,800,000 which got a quick fold from Karnofsky.

In the next hand Zhang limped from the small blind and Karnofsky checked the big blind. A 4Q7 flop was dealt and both checked to the 5 turn.

Zhang check-called a 600,000 bet by Karnofsky, and they headed to the Q river.

Zhang checked and Karnofsky bet out 1,500,000. Zhang sat back and pondered his decision before making a call. Karnofsky turned over Q9 and took the pot having turned a flush, as Zhang mucked his hand.

Karnofsky raised to 500,000 from the button and Rees called from the big blind. This time, Rees check-folded when Karnofsky continued for 900,000 on the J104 flop.

Honghao Zhang opened to 480,000 from the button and was called by Karnofsky and Rees from the blinds. The J85 flop checked through to the 3 turn. Karnofsky led out for 800,000. Only Zhang called. The 7 river checked through to showdown, where Zhang's 108 bested his opponent's 65.

Karnofsky raised to 500,000 from the button and Rees called from the small blind. Rees check-called for 900,000 on the 962 flop before the J turn checked through to the 4 river. Rees check-called for another 900,000, but then mucked after Karnofsky tabled a pair of nines with his Q9.

Rees opened to 500,000 from the button and Karnofsky called from the big blind, before folding to a bet of 300,000 on the KQ2 flop.

Karnofsky then took a pot preflop, with Zhang taking the next two pots down before a flop was dealt.

In a limped pot between Karnofsky and Rees in the blinds. The K10J flop checked through to the 10 turn. Karnofsky check-raised to 900,000 over a bet of 275,000 and stole the pot from Rees.

Zhang Picks Up from Rees

The 5J6 flop saw Rees check-call a 250,000 bet by Zhang, taking them to the K turn.

Rees bet out 700,000 and Zhang made it 1,700,000. Rees looked at Zhang's remaining stack and topped up to call.

The 8 river saw both check to showdown, with Zhang tabling his 63 for a pair of sixes. That was enough to take the pot as Rees flashed his hand to the table and said, "queen-high."

Small Pots are Passed

David Rees raised to 500,000 from the small blind and Honghao Zhang defended the big blind. Rees continued for 600,000 on an ace high flop after Zhang checked and he was able to scoop the pot with no further action.

Rees then opened to 500,000 on the button and scooped the blinds, adding more to his stack.

Zhang positioned himself well after Harlan Karnofsky opened to 500,000 on the button, and he jammed, getting a quick fold from Karnofsky. In the hand the pair battled again, this time with Zhang limping from the small blind and Karnofsky defending the big blind. The A2K flop saw both check to the J turn and Zhang bet 275,000, getting a fold from Karnofsky.

Zhang Draws Closer with a Few Pots

The very next hand, Karnofsky raised to 500,000 from the button and Zhang called from the big blind. The KKQ flop checked through to the 8 turn, where Zhang check-called for 800,000. The 3 river checked through to showdown, where Zhang's J5 was good for the pot. Karnofsky said he had a smaller flush draw,

Zhang drew closer to the bigger stacks after raising to 480,000 from the button and getting called by Rees from the big blind. On the AAJ flop, Rees check-raised to 600,000 over a bet of 240,000. Zhang called. The 8 turn checked through to the 9 river, where Zhang's bet of 1,000,000 folded out Rees.
