Rees Catches Jiang At It

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

It was a three-way to the A99 flop with 80,000 in the pot. Julien Duveau checked from the big blind to Yuchen Jiang in middle position, who bet out for 35,000. David Rees, on the button, made the call, and Duveau got out of the way.

The turn brought the A, and Jiang led out for 75,000, which Rees snap-called for the players to see the 8 peel off on the river. It was checked down with Jiang tabling 76 for total air, and the pot was shipped to Rees with his Q9 for a full house.

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Maria Lampropoulous
Maria Lampropoulous

After getting down to just 5,000 chips earlier in the level, Maria Lampropoulos was unable to turn things around and was among those who recently busted the tournament.

Joining her was also four-time WSOP title holder Evan Sandberg, who already has two online bracelet wins and two WSOP Circuit rings to his name. Fellow bracelet holders Thomas Hall, Jason Dewitt and Nathan Chaibi were also quick to follow suit, making the field a little lighter.

Tamasian Steals Small Pot From Prives

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Garik Tamasian raised to 30,000 from the cutoff, and Igal Prives called from the button, while the blinds moved out of the way. Both players checked the flop of 382.

On the turn 5, Tasmanian took a stab for 40,000, and Prives called.

The river 7 was checked by both players, and Prives showed AJ, while Tamasian had hit the turn with his A5, and won with his pair of fives.

Nasreddine Cracks Chan's Kings

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Rania Nasreddine
Rania Nasreddine

Players were already heads-up on a 534 flop with a pot of around 150,000. Rania Nasreddine was sitting under the gun, and Dominic Chan in the big blind.

Chan moved in his entire 380,000 stack, asking for the majority of Nasreddine's remaining chips. After counting out the change, she made the call and turned over her cards, showing her flopped open-ended straight draw and overcard. Chan turned over his pocket kings, and the pair looked to the board for the runout.

Dominic Chan: KKAll in
Rania Nasreddine: A6

The K turn looked good for Chan, but it didn't last long as the 2 river brought in the straight for Nasreddine.

Roldan Doubles Through Manus

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Juan Roldan

Action folded to Juan Roldan, who moved all in from the button for 105,000. Joshua Manus, in the big blind, squeezed his cards and snap-called.

Juan Roldan: Q9 All in
Joshua Manus: AK

Just the flop Roldan ordered came off 2Q9, but when the 2 paired the board, he needed to dodge an ace or king to stay alive. No drama when the river bricked out with the 8, and Roldan was pushed the pot for a needed double-up.

Lampropoulos Takes Big Hit Before Pay Jump

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

The action was moving very slowly due to a pending pay jump, but Maria Lampropoulos bet 95,000, leaving 15,000 behind from the hijack. Alexandre Servies moved all in from the cutoff for his last 105,000. Lampropoulos called.

Alexandre Servies: KQ All in
Maria Lampropoulos: AK

The board was unkind to Lampropoulos with Q75AQ, and Servies' trip queens scooped the pot, leaving Lampropoulos with a chip and a chair.

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

A number of players have hit the rail since coming back from the break. Including USA's Alexander Greenblatt and Oshri Azran.

The remaining 71 players secured another pay jump and will walk away from the day with at least a $4,770 payout.

Rossitto Pushes Lapka off the Pot

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Michael Rossitto
Michael Rossitto

Michael Rossitto made it 30,000 to play from under the gun and was looked up by Justin Lapka in the big blind.

On the 5JK flop, Lapka check-called Rossitto's 20,000 continuation-bet for the dealer to peel off the 3 as the turn.

Lapka checked again to Rossitto, who didn't slow down, and bet out for 150,000. Lapka tanked for a while and made the call.

The 10 completed the board, and Lapka checked to Rossitto once more, who sized up a river over-bet of 525,000, leaving himself just 15,000 behind. Lapka went deeper into the tank this time before he released his hand to send the pot to Rossitto with no showdown.

Duveau Bets Off Rees

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Nobuaki Sasaki opened to 30,000 from the cutoff, and both David Rees and Julien Duveau called from the button and big blind, respectively.

The 510Q flop was checked through to Rees, who moved out 50,000. Duveau raised to 195,000 and saw a single call from Rees.

A Q turn prompted two quick checks to see the 7 river. Duveau asked for 255,000, which was too much for Rees, and he mucked his hand, passing a sizable pot across the table.
