Huge Double for Chau

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

There were roughly 115,000 chips in the pot on 10J4. Lee Chau in the small blind bet 101,000, and Diego Fernandez in early position made the call.

The A on the turn did not slow down the action as Chau continued his aggression with a bet of 150,000. Fernandez took a few moments to consider his decision before moving all in, putting Chau at risk for his remaining 120,000 chips. Chau snap-called.

Lee Chau: A10 All in
Diego Fernandez: AK

The 4 on the river meant Fernandez lost the pot to Chau.

Kadur Spikes a Set to Double

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Pei Li opened to 24,000 from early position before Jake Schwartz moved all in for around 190,000 from middle position. Action folded to Ran Kadur in the small blind, who called off his remaining 93,000. Li quickly got out of the way, leaving the two players to battle it out.

Ran Kadur: 99All in
Jake Schwartz: QQ

Kadur was behind at the start, but the 4K9 flop gave him a set of nines and put him firmly in front. Schwartz needed help on the remaining streets, but neither the J turn nor the 4 river changed anything.

Kadur secured the double-up and was back in the game, while Schwartz was left counting a much smaller stack.

Melnyk Pot-Sized Bet Forces a Fold

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Liubomyr Melnyk, under the gun, and Oscar David in cutoff, had already built a pot of 70,000 when the flop dropped A610

Melnyk check-called David's 14,000 bet to see another street. Both players checked the 2 turn.

Resuming action on the river 8, Melnyk made a pot-sized bet of 100,000, sending David to the tank. After taking a few seconds of thought, David surrendered both his hand and the pot to Melnyk

Dominguez's Roller-Coaster Ride Comes to an End

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

It was a roller-coaster stretch for Jorge Dominguez over the course of just a few hands.

First, Dominguez doubled up with AK against the 88 of Erick Sarkis. Dominguez paired his ace on the 25AJJ runout to stay alive and gain some breathing room.

However, the momentum was short-lived. Just a few hands later, Dominguez got his chips in with AxKx against the 1010 of Shayan Eshraghi. The 9QJA8 board gave Eshraghi a straight, sending a large portion of Dominguez's stack across the table.

Left with just 14,000 chips, Dominguez was forced all in from the big blind soon after. This time he held 105 but ran into the AJ of Lifu Zhang. Dominguez found no help on the 8A327 board and was eliminated from the tournament.
