Double KO

Level 19 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Alexander Bitsakis moved all in from middle position, and Zhijian Zhang reshoved from the cutoff. Joshua Manus, who covered both players, then moved all in over the top. The blinds got out of the way, sending the three players to showdown.

Alexander Bitsakis: A9 All in
Zhijian Zhang: A9 All in
Joshua Manus: AQ

The flop came 728, giving Manus a flush draw while further strengthening his lead in the hand. The 10 on the turn added straight-draw possibilities for all three players and gave Zhang a flush draw of his own. However, the K on the river sealed their fate, completing Manus' flush and eliminating both Bitsakis and Zhang from the tournament.

Lexy Gavin-Mather

Daniel Rezaei moved all in for around 94,000 from early position, and action folded to Lexy Gavin-Mather in middle position, who made the call. The rest of the table got out of the way, sending the two players to a showdown.

Daniel Rezaei: 66All in
Lexy Gavin-Mather: 1010

Rezaei was behind and looking for help from the board. The 75A flop gave him a few backdoor possibilities, but the 7 turn changed little.

The 10 river improved Gavin-Mather to a full house, bringing Rezaei's tournament run to an end.

Marcus Takes the Pot

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Shawn Daniels limped in the small blind but didn't get to see the flop cheap as Daniel Marcus defended with a raise to 30,000. Daniels called to see what the community cards would bring.

The dealer fanned out 1037. Daniels led out with 15,000 which Marcus called. The turn fell 10 and both players checked.

On the 10 river, Daniels passed the action to Marcus, who took a few seconds before betting 35,000. Daniels called just to muck after seeing Marcus' A8.

"Get it in Bad, Get Out Good"

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action was picked as Will Failla was all in for 87,000 against Avneesh Munjal.

Will Failla: A10 All in
Avneesh Munjal: AK

A player said before the flop was dealt, "Ace-King never wins here."

Pretty safe start for Munjal as the flop came 45Q, but the 10 on the turn took Failla into the lead, and the 9 river gave Failla the double-up.

Failla said, "I'm writing a poker book: get it in bad, get out good. I think it's going to be a best seller."

On His Wei Out

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Kaiwen Wei in late position opened for 167,000, leaving one 1,000-chip behind. Yannick Capocetti announced all-in in the cutoff for 790,000, forcing Wei to throw in what he had behind for a call.

Kaiwen Wei: A9 All in
Yannick Capocetti: 66

Wei started rubbing the nine on the felt in the hopes that it would somehow hit the board, but the flop dropped 1057. He continued to look on hopefully, but the dealer completed the board with a 10 turn and a 3 river, sending him to the rails. He left the table as Capocetti added the chips to his growing stack.

Shao Gets Full Value With Flopped Set

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With around 220,000 already in the middle and the board showing AJ5, Robert Kuhn led out for 40,000 from the big blind. Wei Shao made the call.

The 2 turn saw Kuhn check, and Shao fired 75,000. Kuhn stuck around with a call to bring in the river.

When the 9 completed the board, Kuhn checked for a third time. Shao then moved all in for 220,000, putting Kuhn to a decision for a sizable pot.

Kuhn spent some time in the tank before eventually making the call. Shao tabled AA for a flopped set of aces, while Kuhn could only show KK before sending his hand into the muck.

Field Day for Fields

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Mark Darner opened to 45,000 and got a 60,000 three-bet from the player immediately to his left, Joseph Fields, sending him to the tank. He took so long to decide what to do that a player at the table wanted to call the clock. Before the floor could come over, Darner announced all-in for 310,000.

Fields, covered, called, putting his tournament life at risk.

Joseph Fields: AK All in
Mark Darner: AQ

It may have been what Darner expected: that he would be behind. The flop came 5K6, pushing Fields further ahead. Darner couldn't catch a break with the 23 runout. Fields scooped the pot, leaving Darner down to around two big blinds.
