Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker

Jesse Lonis and Chris Moneymaker built a pot of around 80,000 as they went heads-up to the draw. Both players drew one and Moneymaker checked over to Lonis, who moved all in for 80,000 from the cutoff. Moneymaker snap-called in the small blind.

Lonis showed 8x7x6x4x2x, but Moneymaker had a wheel with 7x5x4x3x2x to win the pot and send Lonis off to reenter.

"Did you look that up this morning while doing your research?" tablemate Nick Schulman said to Moneymaker.

The Negreanus
The Negreanus

For years, fans have followed every part of Daniel Negreanu’s World Series of Poker grinds through his vlogs. This week, however, the seven-time WSOP bracelet winner shared something far more personal than a tournament update or high-stakes hand review.

At the start of a recent vlog, Negreanu could be seen doing some light reading from The New Father: A Dad’s Guide to the First Year.

That’s right. KidPoker is about to become DaddyPoker!

Wheel For Lang

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante

Michael Lang checked from the blinds after the draw and Matthew Valeo bet 12,000 in the cutoff. Lang check-raised to 55,000, causing Valeo to go into the tank.

After mulling it over for a while, Valeo stuck in the call.

Lang showed the wheel with 7x5x4x3x2x and was given the pot.

Hoenig Pats the Nuts For a Double

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante

Justin Marsh three-bet to 55,000 in the big blind and Ryan Hoenig moved all in for 166,500 on the button. Marsh called and drew one, while Hoenig stood pat.

Ryan Hoenig: 7x5x4x3x2x All in
Justin Marsh: 8x5x3x2x

Hoenig didn't even have to sweat out Marsh's draw, as he turned over a pat wheel. Marsh's 9x was inconsequential, and Hoenig took down the massive pot.

Hellmuth Draws a Ten to Scoop Three-Way All In

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante

Joao Vieira moved all in for 80,000 from the button and Phil Hellmuth reshoved for 113,000 in the big blind. Scott Seiver called in the hijack, having both opponents covered and at risk.

Hellmuth drew one, and Seiver stood pat. Vieira took several minutes to make his decision as a crowd gathered around the table, and he eventually discarded one.

Joao Vieira: 9x8x6x5x All in
Phil Hellmuth: 7x5x4x2x All in
Scott Seiver: 10x8x7x4x2x

Seiver patted his 10-8, and Vieira could only draw a Kx. Hellmuth peeled his card, and turned over a 10x to make 10-7-5 and scoop the pot. Vieira was sent to the rail, while Hellmuth doubled up off Seiver.
