Kurt Paeper moved all in for 1,800,000 from middle position and action folded around to Emil Malikov in the small blind. Malikov moved in 500,000 to raise, not seeing Paeper was all in, and was forced to call the remaining chips.
Kurt Paeper: K♥J♥
Emil Malikov: 8♦7♠
Malikov picked up on the 3♠2♠8♣ flop, putting him ahead. Paeper was swiftly sent to the rail after the 7♥ and 10♦ completed the board.
Play has resumed in Event #10: $600 Deepstack No Limit Hold'em as players have settled in the Paris Gold section.
The clock has been paused as the last three tables are moved to the Paris Hall
Play was underway with two players Huanglin Wu, in the big blind, all-in for 1,050,000 and at risk, against Simon Britton, on the button.
Huanglin Wu: 10♦8♦
Simon Britton: K♠J♦
The opponents got on their feet the moment the flopped dropped 8♥10♠10♥ giving Wu a full house. Britton still had minimal outs to turn things around but the dealer completed the board with a 6♠ turn and a 7♣ river, sealing Wu's double up.
Russell Giordano raised from early position to 650,000, and Joseph Sia moved all in from the hijack for 3,275,000. Jason James moved all in for 450,000 more from the button, and Giordano called both players.
Joseph Sia : Q♠Q♦
Jason James: K♦K♣
Russell Giordano: A♦K♦
Sia called for a queen, and that is what he received with the board 2♠4♦Q♠4♠5♣, and Sia would scoop a massive pot with his full house. James scooped a small side pot for 850,000.
Joseph Sia opened on the button, and Kory Kallenbach was forced in from the big blind to be at risk.
Kory Kallenbach: 8♦3♠
Joseph Sia: A♦8♣
Kallenbach requested his cards at least be live when he tabled his hand, but he found out he wasn't even granted that as Sia had his hand dominated.
The flop gave Kallenbach little to work with when it fanned out 4♦5♦5♥.
Kallenbach's hopes of a backdoor straight draw were removed when the Q♠ turn peeled.
The K♦
Simon Britton made it 500,000 to play from middle position and action folded to Omri Zaidman in the small blind who three-bet all in for 2,200,000. Britton snap-called.
Omri Zaidman: A♦Q♦
Simon Britton: A♠A♥
No help for Zaidman on the 8♥J♣2♦ flop but when the 10♣ peeled off on the turn pleas of 'King, king' rang out. The dealer duly obliged and peeled off the K♣ as the river to make Zaidman his straight and crack Britton's bullets to survive.
Ros Sok opened on the button before Brett Kennedy went all-in for 1,300,000. Sok called to put Kennedy at risk.
Brett Kennedy: Q♠J♣
Ros Sok: 2♥2♦
Kennedy needed to see some paint to stay alive, but the help never arrived when the board ran out of 5♥8♦7♦7♥A♥ to keep Sok's ducks ahead and eliminate Kennedy from contention.
