Straight Over Two Pair for Hall

Level 25 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

In a limped blind versus blind situation, Galen Hall in the small blind with A7 bet 400,000 on 629 and Biao Ding with 108 called.

Hall checked the 10 turn and saw Ding bet 1,200,000. Hall called to find the 8 river he was looking for.

Now with a straight, Hall checked. Ding with two pair bet to 1,500,000 but Hall check-raised to 5,000,000. Ding went deep into the tank and called before mucking.

Foxen and Hall Check it Down

Level 25 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Kristen Foxen raised to 1,400,000 from the small blind and Galen Hall defended the big blind.

Foxen checked on the 348 flop and Hall checked behind to see the 6 land on the turn. Both players checked again before the 8 completed the board, where another round of checks followed.

Foxen showed king-high with KJ, but it was no good against Hall's A7 for ace-high.

Level 25 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Galen Hall raised to 800,000 from the button. Biao Ding in the small blind three-bet to 2,300,000 and Hall made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of AQ8 and Ding continued for 1,000,000. Hall folded 77 so Ding scooped the pot with KK.

Level 25 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Joey Weissman
Joey Weissman

Joey Weissman jammed from the small blind for 4,800,000 and Biao Ding quickly made the call from the big blind with the covering stack.

Joey Weissman: K8 All in
Biao Ding: KQ

Weissman was dominated by Ding heading to the J104 flop, where both players picked up a straight draw, although Ding's king-queen high was still best.

A 9 on the turn gave both players a straight, but Ding held the nut straight, leaving Weissman needing a queen on the river just to chop the pot.

It never arrived, however, as the 3 completed the board to send Weissman to the rail in fourth place for $577,326.

Foxen with Two Pair

Level 25 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 87K, Kristen Foxen in the small blind with Q8 checked and Galen Hall in the big blind with A7 checked back.

Foxen bet 800,000 on the K turn, but Hall didn't back down and called.

The Q river improved Foxen's hand even more as she bet 600,000. Hall eventually made the call with ace-high but lost to Foxen's two pair.

Hall With the Bigger Ace

Kristen Foxen called from the small blind and Galen Hall checked from the big blind.

Foxen bet 400,000 on the 477 flop, which Hall called to see the 5 turn.

Foxen slowed down with a check, allowing Hall to place out a bet of 500,000. Foxen called.

The J river went check-check, and Foxen tabled ace-high with A6. Hall had her outkicked with A9 and was awarded the pot.

Kristen Foxen limped from the small blind with J8 but folded to Galen Hall's raise to 1,600,000 with 64 from the big blind.

In the next hand, Hall jammed from the small blind to apply pressure on Joey Weissman in the big blind who called, finding himself at risk for 2,800,000.

With J6, Galen Hall completed from the small blind and Joey Weissman checked his option from the big blind holding Q8.

Both players saw the 587 flop and Hall went for a check. Weissman bet the minimum of 300,000 and Hall continued with a call.

Hall checked for a second time on the 9 turn and Weissman fired again, this time for 500,000. Hall then elected to check-raise to 1,500,000, which was enough to force Weissman out of the pot.

Ignacio Moron Eliminated in 5th Place ($413,389)

Level 24 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Ignacio Moron
Ignacio Moron

When it folded to Ignacio Moron in the small blind, he jammed for 5,500,000 and Kristen Foxen snap-called from the big blind with the covering stack.

Ignacio Moron: A10 All in
Kristen Foxen: 88

Moron was the shortest stack and needed to win the flip with his two overcards to keep his seat at the table.

The 39J flop kept Foxen's snowmen in front, and the 2 turn changed nothing, leaving Moron needing to hit the river to survive.

But the poker gods weren't feeling generous this time around, as the J completed the board to send Moron to the rail in fifth place for $413,389.
