Mei Dunks on Alcindor

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The hand was joined with Michael Christ already all in and the board to the turn reading J103J.

Christopher Alcindor checked from middle position sending to action to Yinjie Mei, immediately to his left. Mei bet 200,000 into a side pot that already had more than 300,000 in it.

Alcindor studied for some time before making the call.

The river brought the 5 and another check from Alcindor. Mei fired a bet of 475,000 chips.

Alcindor, who had 560,000 left, went even deeper into the tank, considering his options. He eventually folded.

Michael Christ: AA104All in
Yinjie Mei: KKJ72

Christ tripled up to win the main pot, thanks to an ace-high flush.

Mei claimed the much bigger side pot with trip jacks, much to the lament of Alcindor, who groaned after the cards were tabled.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Action was picked up on a flop of K7J with both big blind Hung-Hsiang Wu and middle position opener Mark Scacewater all in, with Wu the covering stack.

Mark Scacewater: AQQ104 All in
Hung-Hsiang Wu: KJ832

Scacewater found the perfect runout, as the turn 3 gave him the nut flush, and counterfeited his opponent's superior low draw. The 2 river was the icing on the cake, as he announced "nut-nut" to double his 355,000 stack.

Liebeskind Likes the River

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jake Liebeskind raised to 50,000 from middle position. Brandon Bowers raised to 165,000 on the button. Liebeskind made the call.

The flop hit 96Q.

Liebeskind checked, Bowers moved all in with his last 100,000. Liebeskind called.

Brandon Bowers: AA853All in
Jake Liebeskind: AKKQJ

Liebeskind was ahead with a pair of aces to Bowers' pair of kings. The turn of the 5 opened up low and gutshot straight draws for Liebeskind and a nut-flush draw for Bowers.

The 7 river sealed the scoop for Liebeskind, hitting both of his draws.

"My father Paul will like that one," Liebeskind said.

Estes Check-Raises

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Michael Estes opened the action from the cutoff, with a raise to 50,000. Thomas Koral announced "pot," on the button, which totalled a bet of 180,000. Estes called, and the two went off to a flop of K96.

Estes checked in flow, and Koral slid 140,000 forward. Estes took his time, before asking how much a pot sized bet would be. He then counted out a bet of 420,000, and slid it forward for a check-raise. Koral thought for a brief period, before releasing his cards to the dealer.
