Third Pair Good for Jensen

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante

Gregory Jensen raised to 3,000 from the button and found a call from Orpen Kisacikoglu in the big blind.

The flop came 4JA and Kisacikoglu check-called Jensen's continuation of 4,000 for the dealer to peel off the 10 on the turn.

The action went check check, as it did on the 7 river. Jensen tabled Q10 for third pair and was pushed the pot when Kisacikoglu mucked his cards.

Two checks came after the J7Q flop to see the 2 hit the turn. Koon check-called a delayed continuation-bet of 4,000 from Kornuth and the 10 arrived on the river.

Both checked and Koon's K7 for a pair of sevens won the pot.

Nikita Kuznetsov
Nikita Kuznetsov

Nikita Kuznetsov made it 3,500 to play from the button and was looked up by Orpen Kisacikoglu in the big blind.

On the 2J6 flop Kisacikoglu check-called Kuznetsov's 2,000 continuation bet and the dealer rolled off the J as the turn.

Kisacikoglu checked it over to Kuznetsov once more, who fired a second bullet of 4,500, and Kisacikoglu check-called once again.

The 4 came on the river, and Kisacikoglu knuckled the table for a third time. Kuznetsov thought for a while and announced that he was all in, having Kisacikoglu covered.

Kisacikoglu went into the tank for a short time before he released his cards into the muck, sending the pot to Kuznetsov with no showdown.

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante
Gregory Jensen
Gregory Jensen

Gregory Jensen had opened on the button when he called big blind Alex Anton's three-bet of 22,000. Anton placed a bet of 8,000 on the 6A3 flop, and Jensen quickly shoved all in for about 25,000 total in response.

Anton instantly called, and the players revealed their cards.

Gregory Jensen: AQ All in
Alex Anton: AJ

Jensen's kicker made him a big favorite to double up, but Anton made two pair on the J turn to leave his opponent drawing slim.

The river came the inconsequential 7, sending Jensen to the rail as the first elimination of the day.

Heath Climbs Back to Starting Stack

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante

Nazar Buhaiov made it 2,500 to go in the cutoff. Brian Breck flat-called on the button before Ben Heath squeezed in a three-bet to 13,500 from the small blind. Buhaiov and Breck both called, and the 98A flop was subsequently checked through.

Heath then bet 18,000 on the Q turn. Buhaiov made a quick fold, but Breck stuck around and added calling chips to the pot.

The A river prompted Heath to put his remaining 69,500 at risk with an all-in bet, but Breck swiftly added his cards to the muck to admit defeat.

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante

In some blind on blind action Cedric Schwaederle made up from the small blind and Alex Anton checked his option in the big blind.

On the AQ7 flop, Schwaederle led out for 1,000, and Anton made the call.

The 5 peeled off on the turn, and Schwaederle fired out for 5,000 this time and found the call from Anton.

Both players checked the 4 river, with Schwaederle tabling Ax4x for a rivered two-pair, which was good for the pot as Anton mucked his cards.
