Kornuth Picks Off Tang's Bluff

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

Chance Kornuth made it 100,000 to play from the button and was looked up by Danny Tang in the big blind.

The action went check check on the 649 flop for the players to see the 10 peel off on the turn. Tang led out for 195,000 and, after a short tank, Kornuth made the call.

On the K river, Tang took a moment before he fired off a river bet of 375,000. This sent Kornuth into the tank again and he was charged one time bank before he pushed in the call. Kornuth tabled A6 for fourth pair, which was good for the pot as Tang tabled Q8 for total air.

Winter Buys Back His Button

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Pavel Plesuv raised from the cutoff to 100,000, and Sean Winter three-bet to 325,000. Everyone else folded except Plesuv, who called. The flop was 9J10, and both players checked.

On the 7 turn, Plesuv took the lead and bet out 225,000. Winter called.

On the Q river, Plesuv bet again for 375,000 and Winter called.

Plesuv rolled over 33 for one pair, but Winter showed KJ for the better pair.

Tang Takes From Miki

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Danny Tang opened to 100,000 on the button and Yosuke Miki called in the big blind.

The flop landed 10102Q with an extra card, though the dealer could identify the queen as the burn card so there was no reshuffling needed.

With the flop now reading 10102, Miki then checked and Tang bet 160,000. Miki folded.
