Justin Arnwine raised from the cutoff to 24,000, and Teun Mulder moved all in for 274,000 from the big blind. Arnwine called quickly.
Teun Mulder: 6♠6♥
Justin Arnwine: A♥Q♠
The board brought no help for Arnwine with 7♠J♥9♠J♦8♠, and Mulder enjoyed his first double-up with two pair.
Sergio Aido raised to 25,000 from under the gun and found calls from Cary Katz in the small blind and Clemen Deng in the big blind.
The flop came Q♣2♣J♥, and it was checked to Aido, who continued for 28,000. Katz made the call, and Deng got out of the way.
On the 5♣ turn, Katz check-called once more, for 65,000 this time.
The action went check, check, on the 4♠ river with Katz tabling A♣K♣ for the turned nuts and trying to entice a bluff from Aido.
Shannon Shorr was all in from the hijack against Kharlin Sued in the cutoff.
Shannon Shorr: A♣10♣
Kharlin Sued: 5♦5♣
Shorr couldn't win the flip as the board ran out J♠K♦9♠4♦6♥ to mark the two-time bracelet winner's elimination.
It was a battle of the blinds during which everyone was debating Cary Katz's age, indicating that he never ages, and enquiring about his youth secrets.
Clemen Deng was in the small blind as it folded to him, and he queried, "How much do you have?" to Michael Berk in the big blind.
Berk responded, "144,000."
Deng moved all in with the slightly bigger chip count, and Berk thought for a moment and called.
Michael Berk: A♥2♥
Clemen Deng: A♠7♦
The board ran out with 4♦8♥7♣3♣J♦, and Deng enjoyed a non-sweat board for the win with his pair of sevens.
Chino Rheem was all in from the small blind against Alex Foxen on the button.
Chino Rheem: Q♠10♦
Alex Foxen: Q♦7♦
Rheem had his opponent dominated, but the board ran out 8♦7♠A♣K♠7♣ to give Foxen trips as Rheem was sent to the rail.
Alex Foxen made it 24,000 to play from the button and was looked up by Adrian Mateos in the big blind.
The flop came 8♥A♥5♣ and Mateos check-called Foxen's 40,000 continuation-bet, for the dealer to peel off the A♣ as the turn.
Mateos checked it over to Foxen once more, who fired off a second bullet of 98,000. Mateos flat-called once more.
Both players checked on the K♦ river and Mateos tabled A♦9♥ and was pushed the pot when Foxen mucked his hand.
He came, but he did not conquer. Poker villain and fan favorite Martin Kabrhel was among the late registration entrants, but he lasted all but one hand as he was eliminated by Nick Petrangelo.
Kabrhel was all in for his starting stack of 150,000 against Petrangelo, and words were exchanged before the cards were flipped.
"Miniature Casino Royale only," said Kabrhel. "Okay, Nicky boy, you want to have free afternoon or me? What do you want? You want to win or lose?"
"I don't care," Petrangelo said.
"I kind of want to have free afternoon, so I'm undecided."
Martin Kabrhel: 6♠6♥
Nick Petrangelo: A♥K♠
Kabrhel may have been undecided, but the dealer decided for him as the board ran out J♣A♣9♠4♣3♠ to pair Petrangelo's ace.
"Okay, that's it for today. One hand and one hand only. See you later, alligator. I really enjoyed this."
