Calderon was on his way to double up thanks to a seven on the 8♥9♣7♦ flop. But after the 5♦ turn, Dunaway managed to hit runner-runner trips with the 5♥ river to send Calderon to the rail.
Briant Alavez limped from the small blind and Braxton Dunaway raised to 325,000 from the big blind. Alavez called, and the players went heads up to the flop.
A J♣2♣10♠ was fanned and both Alavez and Dunaway checked to the 5♠ turn. Alavez checked again, and Dunaway bet 500,000. Alavez pondered before mucking his hand, passing another pot to Dunaway.
Yaniv Peretz defended from the big blind after Briant Alavez opened from the button.
Alavez continued for 175,000 on the 7♣Q♥4♥ flop and was called, then checked back the A♥ turn.
The 3♥ river didn't bring more action so Peretz flipped over his J♥9♥ for a flush and scooped the pot.

It didn't take long for Dunaway to fold.
Albert Calderon opened to 240,000 on the button, and Briant Alavez called from the big blind, taking the players heads-up to the Q♣3♣K♠ flop.
Both checked to see the 4♥ turn and again to watch the 9♥ complete the board. Alavez bet 250,000, which was too much for Calderon, and he threw his cards high in the air to fold.

Peretz check-called a 250,000 bet from Alavez to see the Q♦ turn. Alavez continued to fire and Peretz gave up the pot.
Undetered, Peretz opened from the button in the next hand and scooped the blinds. He did the same in the next hand from the cutoff and picked up more, recouping some of his lost chips.
