Jager Wins Three-Way Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With roughly 105,000 in the pot and a 529 flop already dealt, Paul Jager checked in middle position, and Vinny Lingham checked in the cutoff. The action was then on Dimitar Danchev on the button, who bet 35,000. Jager called, but Lingham folded.

The 4 turn saw the action check through, and the 6 completed the board. Jager wasted no time at all in betting 115,000, and Danchev released his cards back to the dealer.

Level 2 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu

Boris Angelov opened to 6,000 first to act and was called by Clemen Deng from directly behind. Action then folded to Daniel Negreanu, who moved all in for his last 86,500 from the small blind.

Angelov called to put Negreanu at risk and Deng got out of the way.

Daniel Negreanu: AKAll in
Boris Angelov: AQ

The board ran out A7Q27 — improving Angelov to aces and queens to eliminate Negreanu.

"Aces to ace-king and now this," a steaming Negreanu said. "Holy fu**"

Taken on the Turn

Level 2 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joining the action with roughly 37,000 in the pot and a QK6 flop face up on the felt, Chang Lee bet 16,000 from the small blind, and Christopher Nguyen called in the cutoff.

Lee slowed down with a check on the board-pairing Q, and Nguyen seized the initiative with a bet of 60,000. Lee gave it some thought before ultimately electing to return his cards to the dealer.

Foxen Forces Two Folds

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen opened to 5,000 from the hijack and was called by Anatoly Zlotnikov in the cutoff and Alex Kulev in the big blind.

Kulev and Foxen checked to Zlotnikov, who put 10,000 into the middle. Kulev called, but Foxen then check-raised to 37,000.

Neither Kulev nor Zlotnikov wanted anything to do with it and folded, awarding the pot to Foxen.

"Good raise," Zlotnikov said to Foxen. "Banana?"

"Never banana," Foxen replied as he collected the pot.

The Field Gets Tougher

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Mateos Trips up Nakdali

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Emilien Pitavy opened to 4,000 from early position and was called by Yaman Nakdali in the cutoff and Adrian Mateos in the big blind for a three-way pot.

Action checked to Nakdali, who bet 7,000 on the 637 flop. Mateos called and Pitavy folded.

Both players checked on the A turn and then Mateos fired a bet of 24,000 into the middle after the 7 paired the board on the river.

Nakdali looked up Mateos, who tabled 97 for trip sevens. Nakdali couldn't beat it and mucked — conceding the pot to Mateos.

Aerts Out, Lee Back In

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ignacio Moron raised to 5,000 from under the gun, and, one seat to his left, Peter Aerts three-bet to 18,000. The action returned to Moron, who four-bet to 55,000, and Aerts called.

Moron continued for 55,000 on a K710 flop, and Aerts called again.

On the 8 turn, Moron emptied the clip, moving all in with the larger of the two stacks. Aerts wasted little time in putting the remainder of his stack into the middle, roughly 185,000.

Pieter Aerts: AK All in
Ignacio Moron: AA

There was no two outer to be found on the 6 river, and Aerts was eliminated.

Whilst that was unfolding, Chang Lee utilised his one allowed reentry and rejoined the field.

Unubukh Doubles After Cracking Negreanu's Aces

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu

Boris Angelov opened from the hijack and was three-bet to 19,000 by Batmunkh Unubukh in the cutoff. Daniel Negreanu then made it 54,000 to go from the small blind, which got a quick fold from Angelov, but a call from Unubukh.

Unubukh called a 40,000 bet from Negreanu on the 9K7 flop and then Negreanu check-called a 70,000 bet from Unubukh after the K paired the turn.

The 10 filled out the board and Negreanu checked again. Unubukh slid his last 118,000 into the middle and Negreanu sat back in his seat, clearly troubled by Unubukh's shove.

Negreanu took a sip of water, counted out a call, and tanked a while, but eventually tossed a call into the middle.

Unubukh revealed AK for trip kings and a disgusted Negreanu showed he held AA for cracked aces before sending them into the muck.

Alex Foxen raised to 5,000 from under the gun and called when Chang Lee moved all in for 52,500, a couple of seats to his left.

Chang Lee: QJ All in
Alex Foxen: 99

There was little to sweat for Foxen across the 87A23 runout, sending Lee to the rail.
