Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Ryan Hughes
Ryan Hughes

Ryan Hughes raised to 800 from late position and saw four players call including Qinghai Pan in the hijack.

The flop rolled out 863 and action checked to Hughes who bet 3,000 to see only Pan call.

Both players checked the turn Q to the river 9 where Hughes bet 9,000 and Pan called.

"Straight and a low," said Hughes as he tabled A1072. Pan rechecked his cards and tossed them into the muck while Hughes added to his massive stack.

Comeskey Folds To Kupin

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up with 3,600 in the center between Frederic Normand in the small blind, Aaron Kupin in the big blind, and Caitlin Comeskey in late position.

Comeskey bet 1,700 on the board reading K74 after both of her opponents checked and Normand folded while Kupin called.

Both players checked on the turn 9 and Kupin bet 7,000 on the river Q. Comeskey thought for a little bit before tossing her hand away and giving the pot to Kupin.

Negreanu and Foxen Are Crushing the Sickest $600 WSOP Event Ever

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen
Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen

It’s no surprise to see Daniel Negreanu and Alex Foxen run deep at the WSOP... but not usually in a $600 tournament.

With just 31 remaining in Tuesday’s $600 Deepstack Mixed NLH/PLO, the cream has well and truly risen to the top, with some of the game’s biggest names sitting on big stacks at the head of what was a 3,332-entry field.

There’s $204,140 up top and a gold bracelet waiting at the finish line, so plenty to play for, even by high roller standards.

Wilkerson Gets a Fold from Nakache

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Dylan Wilkerson opened under the gun, Elie Nakache three-bet to 2,100 on the button, and Wilkerson called.

The two went heads-up to the K75 flop as Wilkerson check-called a bet of 3,000 from Nakache.

Wilkerson checked again on the Q turn, and Nakache bet 10,600 into 10,700. Wilkerson then check-potted for 42,500, the majority of his remaining stack. After a small tank, Nakache decided to let it go, and Wilkerson dragged one without showdown.

Two Shells From Tate

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Brian Tate raised to 600 from under the gun to see Jesse Lonis call in late position. Both David Benyamine in the small blind and Justin Liberto in the big blind called.

The flop rolled out Q52 and action checked to Tate who bet 1,700 and only Lonis called.

Tate sized up to 3,400 on the turn Q and Lonis wasted little time in folding his hand.

Zerjav Makes a Prudent Check

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Blaz Zerjav opened to 500 in middle position before Ted Jackson-Spivack potted to 1,800 on the button. In the big blind, Darrell Hopkins cold-called and Zerjav came along as well.

The KJ2 flop checked through to the J turn which saw Hopkins check a second time to Zerjav who bet 2,700, and only Hopkins called.

The 9 river checked through and Hopkins grimaced as he showed AJ93 for a full house, jacks full of nines, as he was unable to get another bet out of Zerjav.

Jackson-Spivack has already enjoyed a strong start to the day, as he looks to better his ninth place finish in this event in 2026.

Benyamine Folds Out Furth

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

After Stephen Hubbard in late position and Bruno Furth in the cutoff limped, David Benyamine raised to 1,000 to see Brian Tate in the big blind call with Hubbard and Furth calling behind him.

The flop rolled out KK9 and action checked to Furth who bet 2,000 to see only Benyamine call.

Action checked through on the turn A and Furth folded on the river 3 after Benyamine bet 4,000.

Lambe Trips Up Two

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action picked up in a three-way, three-bet pot between Frederic Normand in the hijack, Andreas Frohli in the cutoff, and Dylan Lambe on the button with over 12,000 in the middle preflop.

The Q53 flop checked through to the 5 turn which saw Normand lead for 4,500, and both opponents called.

The 9 river would then check through.

Frederic Normand: AK42
Andreas Frohli: AQ32
Dylan Lambe: A652

All players held the same nut low draw, but it bricked out, leaving Lambe's trip fives best as he drags an early pot.

Normand has taken his seat during Level 1 after winning the $1,500 version of this event as he looks to complete the double.
