Phil Hellmuth tries to keep it positive on social media. But a bad beat elimination from a recent 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) event caused the "Poker Brat" to rant.
The 17-time bracelet winner posted a three-minute video shortly after busting on Day 2 from Event #33: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. In that clip, he expressed frustration two weeks into a long WSOP.
The remaining 160 players are currently on a 15-minute break.
The action was picked up when the dealer showed the flop 5♣K♦5♥. Hang Xu check-called Brennen Bryant for 200,000.
The turn showed 4♦. Xu decided to call Bryant again, this time for 385,000.
The river card showed Q♦. Xu checked again, then Bryant went all in. After a lot of thinking, Xu opted to fold.
Michael Hanson raised from middle position to 400,000. The action folded to Brennen Bryant on the button. He shoved all in for 2,520,000, and Bryant made the call.
