Katz "All In for Jesus"; Suvarna Sent to Rail Again

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

Nick Petrangelo had raised his button when Cary Katz jammed in his stack of 475,000 from the small blind. Petrangelo quickly called to put his opponent at risk.

Cary Katz: 44 All in
Nick Petrangelo: AQ

Katz flopped a set on 9104 to lock up the pot on the 3 turn. He rivered quads with the 4 for good measure, and doubled up.

"You jam that on your second bullet? You're f**king crazy. Jesus is with you," Petrangelo said to Katz.

"I was all in for Jesus on that one for sure," Katz replied.

Meanwhile, Santhosh Suvarna busted his second and thus final entry at another table.

Kabrhel Scoops on the River to KO Moncek and Hall

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel limped from under the gun, and Galen Hall also put 30,000 into the pot from early position. Action folded to Michael Moncek, who moved all in for his remaining 805,000 from the small blind. Kabrhel quickly rejammed, but Hall took some time before he also moved all in for his final 725,000 chips, taking the players to a huge three-way showdown.

Galen Hall: 99All in
Michael Moncek: K10All in
Martin Kabrhel: 66

It was a roller coaster of a runout, with Hall losing the lead as Moncek saw a king come on the JK4 flop.

Moncek improved further on the 10 turn, with Hall also picking up some outs with the straight draw.

The 6 river saw Kabrhel steal the pot and send both his opponents to the rail, having rivered a set of sixes, leaving Moncek and Hall to stand from their seats.

Kristen Foxen
Kristen Foxen

Having just taken a seat in the $100,000 High Roller event during the last level of late registration, Michael Moncek was all in for his entire 500,000 stack from early position. Action folded around to Kristen Foxen, who called off her last 210,000 from the small blind.

Kristen Foxen: 66All in
Michael Moncek: KQ

Foxen was ahead, but the JQ3 flop immediately went Moncek's way. Foxen saw no more sixes and hit the rail after seeing the 2 turn and A river complete the board.

Kenney’s call with ace-high was good enough to eliminate Miki, as the 58 runout failed to improve the Japanese player’s hand.

"Big Huni" Busts Three in Quick Succession

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Christopher Hunichen
Christopher Hunichen

Arriving on the 25J5A river, Chris Hunichen checked from the big blind to Santhosh Suvarna in the hijack. Suvarna fired a bet of 145,000 into the pot of 280,000, only to be raised all-in by Hunichen.

Suvarna took some time to consider his options, but ultimately called off his stack of 420,000. Hunichen revealed 54 for trip fives, sending the recent $50k champion to the rail with his A8.

Two hands later, Andrew Lichtenberger open-shoved his 240,000 remaining stack from the cutoff. Hunichen called on the button before big blind Ramiro Salinas three-bet all in for 725,000. Hunichen asked for a count, then called.

Andrew Lichtenberger: A3 All in
Ramiro Salinas: AJ All in
Chris Hunichen: 66

Hunichen's pocket pair remained best on the 237K2 runout, eliminating two more players to increase his stack above the two-million mark.

Foxen Takes Down Ding

Biao Ding
Biao Ding

Action folded to Alex Foxen in the small blind, who raised to 85,000. Biao Ding three-bet for 200,000 from the big blind, and Foxen quickly made it 430,000. Ding took no time before moving all in for just under 1,000,000 in chips, and Foxen snap-called, having Ding covered.

Biao Ding: AQAll in
Alex Foxen: QQ

Ding was behind and hunting down an ace or hearts. The 1045 flop saw Ding pick up a backdoor flush draw, but he missed on the 2 turn, and the 7 river did nothing for him either.

Ding hit the rail in the first level of Day 2, and Foxen stacked up to become one of the leaders early in the day.

Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

Chris Hunichen raised to 50,000 in middle position. Brandon Wilson called in the hijack, Ramiro Salinas did so on the button, and Thomas Boivin and Vinny Lingham came along in the blinds.

Boivin then led out for 60,000 on the 6Q7 flop. Lingham called before the other three players folded. Boivin sized up to 100,000 on the 8 turn and quickly called when Lingham put him all in for 450,000.

Thomas Boivin: Q9 All in
Vinny Lingham: 76

Lingham's two pair remained best on the J river, and the duo shared a fist bump before Boivin booked his final exit of the tournament.

The dealer fanned a flop of 333, which was checked by Lingham. Boivin bet 160,000, but Lingham check-raised all in to make Boivin fold.

Santhosh Suvarna: AK All in
Vinny Lingham: AK

The 28 runout completed the board, and they split the pot with the same hand. Meanwhile, Samuel Mullur wasn't as lucky and was eliminated.
