Level 25

William Klevitz: 743/A4A6
Lu Yuan: Q95/895Q

William Klevitz completed and was called by Lu Yuan.

Yuan proceeded to call bets from Klevitz on every street and Klevtiz revealed his cards for aces-up.

"Three pair," Yuan joked as he turned over his holding. Yuan then mucked and Klevitz was sent the pot.

Yuan was eliminated shortly after the hand to set up the final two tables.

First to act on sixth street, Argyros bet and Hanson called.

Argyros checked on seventh, but called when Hanson moved all in.

Martirosian's Aces Cracked TWICE to Bubble 100K High Roller

Level 24
Artur Martirosian
Artur Martirosian

There are brutal ways to bubble a poker tournament, and then there is what’s just happened to Artur Martirosian.

The Russian high-stakes crusher has just exited this year’s World Series of Poker (WSOP) $100,000 High Roller in perhaps the most painful fashion imaginable, after seeing pocket aces cracked twice in quick succession to fall just short of a $201,754 min-cash.

Here are the two hands that ended the four-time WSOP bracelet winner’s hopes, as he hit the rail at the Paris feature table in the bitterest of circumstances:

Nine-Eight No Good for Fuchs

Level 24

Razz

Kent Gugelman: Jx5x2x/Ax7x9x10x
Carol Fuchs: XxXxXx/8x9x5xKx

The action was picked up heading to fourth street, which saw Carol Fuchs call a bet from Kent Gugelman.

Fifth and sixth street were the same story, as Fuchs called two more bets before the action checked through on seventh.

Gugelman tabled his hand, a nine-seven low, to which Fuchs remarked, "I guess nine-eight is no good", as she mucked her cards.

Ryan Caskey: XxXx/938 - folded on fifth street

Three ways on fifth street, Lu Yuan bet after making open aces and was called by Clayton Mozdzen. Ryan Caskey folded.

Mozdzen then raised a bet from Yuan, and Yuan called after a bit of thought on sixth.

Both players checked on seventh and Mozdzen tabled his hole cards for trip fours. Yuan showed he held a 10x for aces-up and sent his cards into the muck.

Jonathan Nebbout: 1062/886A

Mike Wattel completed on third street, and Jonathan Nebbout called.

Fourth, fifth and sixth streets all saw Nebbout bet and Wattel call, before both players checked on seventh street.

Wattel announced he had kings up for two pair, and Nebbout showed that he also had two pair, but not high enough to claim the pot.

More For Mozdzen as Foehl Busts

Level 24

Seven Card Stud

Charles Foehl: A8x5/10642All in
Clayton Mozdzen: 10104/364K
Lu Yuan: QJ9/A7J5

Charles Foehl moved all in for his remaining chips, Lu Yuan completed, and Clayton Mozdzen called for a side pot.

Mozdzen called a bet from Yuan on fourth street and then Yuan check-called a bet from Mozdzen on fifth.

Both players checked on sixth street and then Yuan check-called another bet from Mozdzen on seventh.

Mozdzen revealed his cards for two pair, which was best against Foehl's ace-high and Yuan's pair of jacks, to claim the pot.
