2026 World Series of Poker
Phil Ivey raised to 600,000 in early position and action folded around to Bryn Kenney in the big blind. Kenney announced a three-bet to 1,650,000, and Ivey responded by quickly moving all in for a total of 5,800,000.
Kenney called just as fast, and the hands were turned up.
Phil Ivey: J♠J♥
Bryn Kenney: Q♠Q♣
Kenney had Ivey dominated, and both players improved to two pair on the 4♥10♦2♣9♣9♠ runout. Kenney's queens remained best, sending Ivey out as the first elimination of the official final table in eighth place.
After an open by Adrian Mateos, Phil Ivey moved all-in and made the Spanish player fold.
A few hands later, Mateos opened again to 600,000 from middle position. Jason Koon in the cutoff called before Ivey on the button jammed. Both Mateos and Koon quickly folded.
In a limped pot, Bryn Kenney in the small blind bet 300,000 on the K♠K♦K♥ flop. Jason Koon in the big blind called.
Both players checked the Q♣ turn leading to the 7♠ river which saw Kenny bet 1,200,000. Koon went into the tank but folded.
Bryn Kenney opened to 625,000 in middle position and quickly called when Phil Ivey moved all in for 1,650,000 in the cutoff.
Phil Ivey: A♠Q♣
Bryn Kenney: K♣Q♥
The table wished Ivey good luck as he revealed his dominant position, and Kenney could not improve on the 4♠8♦10♥2♣6♣ runout.
Ivey then shoved the following hand, getting it through to chip up even further.
Adrian Mateos opened to 600,000 in middle position, and Jason Koon stuck in call from the cutoff. Michael Moncek moved all in from the small blind for 2,650,000, with Mateos folding before Koon made the call.
Michael Moncek: 8♥8♦
Jason Koon: A♠J♦
Moncek was flipping and watched Koon hit Broadway on the turn of the K♥4♦10♦Q♠9♦ board. Koon collected the pot, sending Moncek out in ninth place.
Bryn Kenney on the button opened to 2,000,000. Jason Koon in the small blind went into the tank and moved all-in for 4,600,000. Phil Ivey in the big blind folded and Kenney quickly called.
Jason Koon: K♦J♦
Bryn Kenney: J♠7♠
Koon flopped a flush draw on 6♦4♦2♠, and was still in the lead on the 6♥ turn. The 7♦ river paired Kenney's seven, but it also completed Koon's flush so he doubled up.
Heads-up on a flop of 6♦5♠10♥, David Einhorn in middle position checked but Brandon Wilson in the hijack bet 550,000.
Einhorn called and checked the 5♥ turn. Wilson checked back.
The J♣ river was checked by both players and Einhorn flipped over A♦J♠ for two pair. Wilson didn't look happy about that and sent his cards into the muck.
David Einhorn raised to 625,000 from the hijack, and Sean Winter checked his cards before announcing a three-bet to 1,900,000 in the big blind.
Einhorn called to see the 6♦K♦J♣ flop, where Winter led out for 800,000. Einhorn announced all in, asking for the rest of his opponent's stack.
Winter did not take long to send his cards into the muck, and Einhorn raked in another pot.
Sean Winter opened to 650,000 from under the gun, and David Einhorn answered with a three-bet to 2,000,000 in the cutoff.
After taking some time, Winter opted to let his hand go and Einhorn picked up the small pot.
Play has been slow to begin Level 19, as players saw just a single flop in the first ten hands of the day.
