The WSOP has moved the final table to the streamed featured tables area, which means our live reporting will have to be delayed by around 2.5 hours to match the live stream, per the WSOP media guidelines. We apologize for the inconvenience.
2026 World Series of Poker
The final nine players have taken their seats, and action is underway on Day 3.
Level: 19
Blinds: 150,000/300,000
Ante: 300,000
An angry poker player got into a verbal dispute with another player at the table at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) after having his cards mucked in the big blind.
The verbal altercation between Georgia's James Heath and Maine's Darrell Blodgett took place on Sunday during Day 1 of Event #43: $800 8-Handed Deepstack No-Limit, which drew 3,903 runners for a prize pool of $2,732,100. And there was no love lost between two of those players.
The time has arrived for the largest buy-in event of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), as nine contenders will return today to battle for the bracelet in Event #41: $250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em.
From a field of 56 entries comprised of the top minds in the game, just one final table remains to determine the top recipients of the $13,720,000 prize pool. The top spots will be awarded at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, when action resumes at 2:00 p.m. local time.
Leading the way are two heavyweights of the poker world, as all-time tournament money leader Bryn Kenney sits in pole position for a possible third WSOP bracelet after collecting 19,350,000 chips at the end of Day 2. That is good for 65 big blinds, and a heathy advantage over the rest of the field.
Sitting in second spot is Spain's Adrian Mateos, who returns as the only other player above the 50 big blind mark with 16,900,000. Mateos is seeking a sixth WSOP bracelet, having already locked up his second high roller cash of the series.

The final nine players include a quartet in search of their maiden piece of WSOP hardware, led by David Einhorn (13,400,000) who sits in third place entering the final day. Fellow American Brandon Wilson (9,625,000) has 32 big blinds in his stack, one of seven contenders looking to make their 25K Fantasy teams happy with a win later today.
Day 1 chip leader Samuel Mullur (7,825,000) navigated his way into the money to round out the top five stacks, bagging up ahead of Sean Winter (6,450,000).
The final three spots include multiple bracelet winners and some of the most recognizable names in the game. Jason Koon (4,450,000) returns on the left of chip leader Kenney, with just 15 big blinds in his bag. High roller regular Michael Moncek (3,250,000) sits closer to the danger zone, but still has a chance to add a third bracelet to his poker resume.
Rounding out the field is 11-time bracelet winner Phil Ivey (2,750,000), returning to play with just under ten big blinds in his bid to earn a seat at the official final table of eight.
All remaining players have locked up the minimum cash of $518,518, with the top prize of $4,334,411 awaiting tonight's champion.
Action will resume at 2 p.m. local time on Level 19, with blinds of 150,000/300,000 along with a 300,000 big blind ante. Levels will continue to be contested over 60 minutes, with one level scheduled to be played before the feature table goes live on the WSOP YouTube stream.
